Kailyn Lowry continues to confound her Instagram followers.
The famous Teen Mom 2 star has said many times of late that she’s single, yet one would be forgiven for thinking the opposite.
She keeps mentioning Chris Lopez. She keeps sharing photos of Chris Lopez. She has even now included one of Chris Lopez and the ex-couple’s son, Lux.
What might this mean? Is Lowry purposely dropping hints? Or is she simply content that she and her third baby daddy are on good terms?

Chris Lopez and Lux! Together!
We don’t get to see this very often. But Lowry posted this picture of Lopez and Lux together along with the caption “Twinzzz.” It’s just the latest example of Lowry and Lopez spending more time together.

This picture was shared on October 9, 2018. “Phillies n shit,” Kailyn penned as a message along with it, despite the baseball season being over for this squad.
Is Kailyn Trying to Tell Us Something?
We mean, she’s done more than merely TRY in the past. She’s come right out and referred to Lopez as her “first love,” adding in a blog post this summer: “I know, weird, when I had two kids with two other people. Breaking up with Isaac and Lincoln’s dads was upsetting because I felt like my kids lost the family aspect that I craved so badly for them. But this was different.”
Knock Me Up, Dude!
As loyal Teen Mom 2 fans likely know by now, Lowry has also said she wants Lopez to impregnate her again. No, really. We are not making this up.
Right, Kailyn?
“I would definitely have more, but I also know that my life isn’t really set up for another right now,” she previously told Us Weekly about adding to her family, dropping the bombshell as follows: “Ideally I would have liked Chris to be the father of my next child.”
Does This Mean She Wants to Get Back Together?
Not necessarily. There’s articficial insemination and other ways to accomplish the pregnancy goal without a romance. Lowry just maybe wants a fourth child and wants this child to be biologically related to her third child.
But… Why Chris?!?
She has called their breakup her “first REAL heartbreak, where I loved someone and was IN love with someone. And I felt so abandoned during such a vulnerable time.” Lowry has said on many occasions that the feelings here were very very very real.
And There’s Also This:
Both of her other baby daddies are in serious relationships. She’s actually on decent terms with them, too. She isn’t about to significantly rock the boat with Jo or Javi.
Would Chris Really Be Into This?
Stranger things have happened, right? He and Kailyn exchanged angry words early on because the former thought the latter was trashing him on TV — and the latter was trashing him on TV! She referred to Chris as a “deadbeat dad” to her friends.
Okay. But Now?
“Grab a copy of A Letter of Love if you haven’t, I tried to act like I didn’t want to read it…but I did lol,” Lopez tweeted about Lowry’s new book, making it evident he’s cool with his ex by promoting her memoir.
Didn’t It Say Disparaging Things About Him, Though?
Yup. And Lopez acknowledged this while still giving Kailyn props: “Even though it’s things about me I may not agree with, overall proud of her! [I don’t know] [about] y’all but I don’t know many people that have 4 published books lol.”
There’s Clearly Some Kind of Future Here
Will it be romantic? Strictly amicable so that they can co-parent little Lux? We can’t say for sure, but Lowry said this during a Teen Mom 2 special earlier this year: “We didn’t speak for eight months and I’m still in love with [Chris].” She keeps dropping that L Bomb!
There’s a Fine Line Between Love and Hate
“In a way I hate him, because I feel like I really gave my all to him and I didn’t get that back,” she added at the time. “But then on the other hand, it’s like I want to thank him because I learned that I am capable of loving someone and like, truly, being faithful and committed in a relationship.”
In Conclusion?
“It’s sad, because I have kids with Jo [Rivera] and Javi [Marroquin] as well, but I just didn’t love them the way I loved Chris,” she said. So Kailyn has put herself out there multiple times — will Chris respond in kind?!?
