Just a couple of days before Valentine’s Day, Larissa Lima was arraigned over her (latest) arrest for domestic battery.
Despite Colt Johnson’s accusation that his 90 Day Fiance bride was abusive, a lot of fans have questions.
Having seen photos of Larissa after their latest fight, a lot of people have a hard time seeing Colt as the victim.
But Colt’s mother, Debbie, tells SoapDirt that Colt was absolutely a victim of Larissa’s abuse.
Debbie isn’t quite a neutral party in this, but her words carry some weight.
She also shares that Larissa’s legal situation could be much, much worse than anyone realizes.
Debbie is confirming her son’s story
She says that Larissa abused Colt during their marriage. It is unclear if she is claiming to have witnessed this, but we’ll walk you through what she has been willing to share.
At first, Larissa and Debbie seemed to get along
Very quickly, however, Larissa’s complaints about everything, coupled with her arrival signaling a change in Debbie’s life, caused Colt’s mom to break down into tears.

Debbie confessed that Larissa was making her miserable, and Larissa wasn’t shy about feeling the same way

She did not appreciate having a third wheel in the house — especially after she and Colt got married.

Larissa was arraigned in Las Vegas Justice Court on misdemeanor domestic violence charges.
The charges stem from their January 10 fight
Though fans saw with horror that Larissa’s face was smeared with her own blood, Colt also displayed an injury — a scratch on his lip. Larissa had already admitted on video to scratching his lip.
Larissa did not appear for her arraignment
Colt Johnson was also not there. But Debbie was …
And Debbie had a lot to say
First of all, she says that Colt is a victim of spousal abuse at the hands of Larissa
And she says he wants to help others
Debbie claims that Colt intends to do some sort of advocacy work to raise awareness about this type of situation — once the dust has settled from the current drama, that is.

Debbie says that Colt would have liked to appear at the courthouse, but that he had already missed too much work

Debbie says that, even though Colt dropped the charges for Larissa’s first two domestic battery cases, they didn’t just magically go away — they’re just no longer considered priorities
He could even change his mind
According to Debbie, Colt has up to one year to tell police that he would, in fact, like to press charges for Larissa’s June and November arrests for domestic battery.
It sounds like Debbie hopes that he will

Our guess is that both Colt and Larissa may try to use what leverage they have in their divorce. Plus, Larissa wants to avoid deportation.
Debbie never liked their relationship
We totally understand why she cried after first meeting Larissa. But some believe that Debbie could have had a better attitude about Larissa and Colt’s engagement. Others believe that any mother would be remiss if she said nothing when her child entered a toxic relationship.
How will this battle end?
