As previously reported, Khloe Kardashian is writing a self-help book.

And while we can’t say for certain what sort of advice will be featured in it (though we can guess, see photo gallery below), it’s safe to assume Khloe will talk a lot about loving oneself above all else.

That is a major theme of Kardashian’s cover story for the latest issue of Cosmo Body.

The reality star admits to the magazine that she’s lost a lot of weight over the past several months.

But she didn’t do it for anyone but herself.

"On my Instagram page, people comment saying ‘I liked you better when you were bigger’ and I think, ‘Thank God I don’t live my life for other people because I’d be in a constant tug of war," Khloe said.

Instead, the brunette explains how she got gradually healthier and fitter over the years, largely due to struggles in her personal life.

Khloe’s divorce from Lamar Odom, in fact, was a major catalyst for a significant lifestyle change.

"When me and Lamar were having issues, I decided to channel my energy into working out," she says.

"If I went out with my girlfriends I would be hounded by paparazzi and made to feel more humiliated. The gym was my only refuge. I could put music on and dance around with my girlfriends and be silly."

Khloe goes on to say she has never felt "fat," but does acknowledge she wasn’t always at her peak health.

And while talk continues to circulate over Kylie Jenner lip injections or Kim Kardashian butt implants, Khloe concludes that she’ll never go under the knife.

"I’m not against plastic surgery – if you want to do a tweak, I’m all for it, but you have to love yourself first because no surgery is going to change your heart.

"It would have been such an easy solution to get liposuction or whatever, but you have to be healthy to maintain that. I’ve always felt like ‘Wouldn’t it be great to accomplish that on your own?’"
