In a recent interview with E! News, Amber Portwood offered some friendly advice to her fellow Teen Mom trainwreck, Jenelle Evans.
“It’s simple,” Amber said when asked if she has any tips for Jenelle. “If it’s wrong, don’t do it, because you feel like you’re not going to get caught and you do.
“That’s how I used to feel. Oh, I can do whatever I want. How are they going to know?…Don’t do it if you’re not supposed to.”
It’s sound advice, especially considering all that Jenelle has been through lately.
Evans was arrested again last month for driving without license, and just days later, she found herself face-to-face with police for a much more serious matter.
Cops were called to Jenelle’s home, and her fiance Nathan Griffith was arrested for domestic abuse (even though several reports from the scene indicate that Jenelle was the one who got violent).
Now, Jenelle and Nathan are back together, despite a restraining order which legally prohibits them from being in contact with one another.
So yeah, the 23-year-old mother of two has a lot on her plate these days, and you would think she might welcome a little advice from someone who’s been down a similar road. (Portwood served 17 months in prison following her first stint on Teen Mom.)
Jenelle, however, wasn’t having it:
“That’s funny she said that,” Jenelle told E! “I live by the quote my probation officer taught me: ‘Don’t put yourself in a situation if you know the outcome is going to be negative.
“I’m about to graduate from Miller Motte in July with my MA diploma and am going back to be a surgery tech. So I think I’m doing pretty fine for myself, but thanks for the ‘advice.'”
So basically, Jenelle is pissed that Amber offered her advice, because…her probation officer already told her something similar?
Looks like that crazy Jenelle temper we’ve all come to know and fear is just as wild as ever.
