You don’t have to watch Kourtney and Khloe Take the Hamptons online to know that Scott Disick and Khloe Kardashian have an interesting relationship.
The new Keeping Up With the Kardashians spinoff has really driven this point home, however, as they’re very clearly … comfortable around each other.
They talk about sex. They discuss herpes. He inspects splinters in her backside. They sleep in the same bed after Kourtney kicks him out. Et cetera.
It’s no surprise that Kardashian-obsessed tabloids have run with this, with one cover story insinuating that Scott Disick is in love with Khloe Kardashian.
Both parties recently acknowledged this on Instagram, with Khloe comparing magazines to a telenovela and asking Scott if he’s coming over later.
Scott re-posted the same picture with the simple caption, “Yolo.”
Soon after posting this humorous response, Khloe had a change of heart for some reason and took it down. But it’s clear both of them get a kick out of it.
The two do seem to like each other and being around one another a lot. Much more so than, say, Scott Disick and his actual partner, Kourtney Kardashian.
That doesn’t mean he’s in love with Khloe, though. Maybe it’s because there’s no romance complicating things between them that they get along so well.
Really, they’re more like a fun brother and sister combination … who talk about sexually transmitted diseases and share hotel rooms and beds at times.
Still odd for siblings. But likely no repressed, amorous feelings.
As we saw on Kourtney and Khloe Take the Hamptons Season 1 Episode 3, he has some serious emotional hangups and does not handle stress well.
He feels comfortable being himself around Khloe, whereas Kourt’s attempts to rein him (and her own communication issues) seem to drive him away.
Since Scott and Khloe continue to grow closer, perhaps that special bond will be what finally convinces him to take care of himself after his recent antics.
Clearly Kourtney Kardashian ultimatums aren’t getting it done.
Given Scott’s current mental state, and the fact that he’s about to be a parent for the third time, he needs all the help he can get, wherever he can find it.
Here’s hoping we get to see him bond with Khloe more this season, and that she can be his emotional rock … who posts mug shot birthday messages.
