Kim Kardashian revealed over the weekend that she and Kanye West are having a baby boy.
But Kanye actually had his mind focused on something even more important during an appearance at Hot 107.9’s birthday celebration in Atlanta on Saturday.
The artist was rapping his track “Black Skinhead” when he chose to delve into racism and, specifically, the tragic Charleston shooting last Wednesday that claimed nine lives.
“I always knew they’d try to tear me down,” sings West as he crouches down on the stage.
“I always knew they’d try to tear me… Don’t, don’t, don’t let them make you believe that I’m crazy. That I’m crazy. Don’t, don’t, don’t let them make you believe that I’m crazy, that I’m crazy. I think there’s a couple more things that they owe us.
"Don’t let them make you believe that I’m crazy.”
Kanye then referenced "Five hundred n**gas getting pop-pop-pop-pop-pop-popped, and North [sic] Carolina didn’t help. See that’s the magic of racism, it works on itself."
The tragic shooting took place in South Carolina, but suspect Dylann Roof was apprehended in Shelby, North Carolina last Thursday.
