But, trust us, we’ve never shown you a proposal such as this.
It took place last year on the same street on which a key scene from the 1978 horror movie Halloween was filmed.
Uploaded by Alec Wells, it depicts Wells dressed in the classic coveralls and latex mask of villain Michael Myers, as he patiently stalks and scares girlfriend Katherine Canipe.
She seems legitimately frightened at first, but then she seems even more legitimately moved to tears once she realizes it’s actually her boyfriend dressed up like a serial killer and that he’s actually proposing… not trying to murder her.
Canipe, who co-hosts the podcast Boys & Ghouls, said recent post on Imgur that this was a “perfect proposal.”
