Tyler Baltierra is not really a private person.
The Teen Mom OG veteran has been very open through the years when it comes to his marriage and also to his mental health struggles.
According to a new report, however, Tyler is about to be even more open.
He’s getting set to release a memoir that will document his relationship with Catelynn, where it’s been and where it’s going, along with his own personal journey along the way.

Tyler and Catelynn Have Been Together Since They Were 12
For real. We’re talking about a very serious and very long-term romance here, one that has seen its share of ups and downs.
For Example?
Well… Catelynn and Tyler gave up their first daughter for adoption because they didn’t think they were ready to be parents. That was their first major issue/obstacle/decision.
What Else?
Catelynn has entered rehab multiple times due to her battle with Depression, while she also suffered a miscarriage in early 2018. Many couples never come back from this sort of tragedy.
And Now?
Tyler and Catelynn are expecting a child! She’s due in March! And yet they are actually living apart on occasion these days.
Really? Why?!?
Tyler has said he needs personal space. He needs to focus on himself a little bit because he’s been so wrapped up in assisting Catelynn with her struggles.
This is What He Said to a Friend During a Recent Teen Mom Episode:
“When does it ever turn around? When is it ever 50/50?! I’m saying this is what I need, awesome. If you can’t, let me know now. I don’t want to waste any time, let me get out of here. Marriage is a bitch.”
Yikes, Right?
Yes. But Tyler is insistent that he doesn’t want a divorce. “We call it 30 days of self-reflection,” he has said of their time apart. “The main goal is to stay with my wife and live this life. We love each other.”
Okay, Phew. Now About This Memoir?
“Tyler is still struggling with depression, but writing is a big outlet of his,” an insider tells Radar Online. “He’s in the midst of writing a self-help book for mental health that he wants to release in 2019.”
Would We Learn More About Tyler, Too?
Yes. This book would also talk a lot about Tyler’s “own experiences,” according to this same website.
Is Tyler Really a Writer?
Yes, he has penned quite a few poems on his Instagram account over the years.
Here’s a Recent Example:
“my brain is not normal/my thoughts aren’t desirable/my desires are uncomfortable/they may all be relatable/but man they’re despicable/I’m so sick of being difficult/& fighting these emotions that I need to start accepting/it’s so damn pitiful.”
That’s a Bit Troubling, No?
Absolutely. It prompted Catelynn to reach out and assure her husband that he’s loved.
The Poetry Has Been Cathartic
“Tyler seems the most confident he ever has [been] in their relationship now that he knows that he can be 100 percent honest with Cate about how he feels,” Radar claims.

“I had resentments,” Tyler said on the OG reunion special of Catelynn’s post-partum depression. “After a certain time, yeah [I blamed her]. I know it sounds insensitive.”
