90 Day Fiance fans have seen a number of hints that Chantel and Pedro have broken up.
It would be a shock to see this couple break up after so many years together.
But considering the family drama — and last year’s Everett family melee, would it really be such a big surprise?
Then again, if they’ve split, would Pedro still be taking shots at Chantel’s mom as if there’s ongoing drama?

Chantel and Pedro had an uphill battle from the start. Their families did not get along, and that continued after the couple married and while they appeared on 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? In the aftermath of a physical altercation between families, the two are reportedly reeling but still married … for now.

Season 4 of 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? shows us the continuing fallout of that fight (and, let’s be real, other issues) for Chantel and Pedro.
Pedro feels like he doesn’t have support
When it’s him vs Chantel’s whole family, he at least wants Chantel on his side. She feels torn, and that makes him feel like she’s not entirely standing with him.
Also …
Chantel doesn’t want to have a baby with Pedro (or anyone, of course) right now, because she feels torn between him and her folks, and doesn’t want to bring a child into that situation. Pedro takes that as a personal rejection, even though it is not.
That fight won’t happen again
But just in case it does, Chantel’s mom (who LIVES for drama, bless her) bought a taser and has named it “Shocky” in case another melee breaks out in her home.

Pedro keeps posting thirst traps. Now, some people do this just to build a brand or because they love attention. But others do it because they’re single and they wanna find new people to bone.

Her “seriously” here is ambiguous. Is she roasting her husband for sharing so many thotty pics, or is she roasting her EX for flaunting his stuff on social media? Impossible to say with certainty.

She shared that Pedro STILL doesn’t get along with her friends. One, that sounds like something you’d say when you’re still married. Two, if a guy doesn’t get along with any of your family OR your friends, it starts to look more and more like he’s the common factor in every conflict.

Some 90 Day Fiance stars can’t help but let their drama spill over onto social media (or into police reports). Pedro and Chantel keep fans guessing, and have been doing so for years.
And now there’s this
Pedro shares an image of a man being bitten in the face by a snake, calling it a mother-in-law’s “kiss.”
For the record, he’s not the first to make that joke
Conflicts with one’s mother-in-law are not actually universal, but they’re not uncommon, either. This plant, also called a Snake Plant, has another name — Mother-in-Law’s Tongue. Snakes and MILs go hand-in-hand in some people’s minds, unfortunately.
The sentiment is no surprise
Pedro got into a physical altercation with Chantel’s family, prompting her mom to then tell the camera (in a very dramatic tone, and also in Spanish) that Pedro was bad for her family, and that she hoped that immigration deported him.
And now she has armed herself
Though, hilariously, 90 Day Fiance castmate Paola Mayfield took to Instagram to jokingly offer Pedro her very pink taser in case he and Chantel’s mom got into some sort of electrical duel
Why did he post it?
It’s a very confrontational and insulting thing to post. Maybe he did it to drive up drama for the show. But maybe he just did it because he was feeling angry and impulsive. You know, like he was when he ran around the table to physically accost Chantel’s brother, River.
Our guess?
We think that Chantel and Pedro are still together, and not just because they have a spinoff airing later this year. Chances are pretty good that The Family Chantel finished filming already (though that’s just a guess). If they had divorced, they’d be taking shots at each other, not at their in-laws.
But we’ll have to wait and see
