Kanye West is outta there, people.
As you may have heard over the past severak weeks, West has been a proud supporter of Donald Trump.
He’s worn a MAGA hat in public. He’s ranted on SNL. He’s even met with Donald Trump in the Oval Office.
But now Kanye says he’s finished with politics. He’s done. He’s sick of the whole thing.
What changed? What happened? Why does he now feel this way?
Scroll down to get caught up on the whole sordid story…
Make America Kanye Again!
West has spent the past several weeks touting how awesome Trump is, even hugging the President in the White House and say he loves him. For real. This happened.
Screw My Race!
West has said slavery is a choice. He’s said we should abolish the 14th amendment and perhaps bring this practice back. He’s betrayed his race at every turn.
And Also His Wife

Numerous sources have said that Kim Kardashian has considered leaving West as a result of this MAGA madness.
And Yet… West Has Carried On!

Until now.
So, What Changed?

In a Tweet storm on October 30, 2018, Kanye said he was going to distance himself from the political arena because he’s sick and tired of being used by those in the arena.
We’ll Let Him Explain…

Strap in, folks. Kanye is about to go full-on Kanye…
Eyes Wide Open
“My eyes are now wide open and now realize IâÂÂve been used to spread messages I donâÂÂt believe in,” West wrote to open this diatribe. “I am distancing myself from politics and completely focusing on being creative !!!”
What the Heck Happened?
Wrote West by way of explanation: “I introduced Candace to the person who made the logo and they didnâÂÂt want their name on it so she used mine. I never wanted any association with Blexit. I have nothing to do with it.”
Who is Candace?
This must be a reference to Candace Owens, an African-American conservative pundit. But what does she have to do with this new take from Kanye?
What Did Owens Do/Say?
Owens had said the following: “Blexit [black exit from Democratic Party] is a renaissance and I’m blessed to say that this logo, these colors, were created by my dear friend and fellow superhero — Kanye West.” But it seems as if Kanye did not want Owens speaking for him in this manner, or associating him with this so-called movement.
Thanks, Everyone!
Continued Kanye: “I would like to thank my family, loved ones, and community for supporting my ACTUAL beliefs and my vision for a better world.”
What Do You Actually Believe, Kanye?
“I support those who risk their lives to serve and protect us and I support holding people who misuse their power accountable. I believe in love and compassion for people seeking asylum and parents who are fighting to protect their children from violence and war.”
What Else Does He Believe?
“I support creating jobs and opportunities for people who need them the most, I support prison reform, I support common-sense gun laws that will make our world safer.”
Too Little, Too Late?

Will the public forgive Kanye now that he’s had a change of heart? Or is this way, way, WAY too little and has it come way, way, WAY too late for most to look past all he has said and done in support of Trump?
