The feud between Kailyn Lowry and Briana DeJesus is unlike most reality TV beefs, as it’s played out mostly as a kind of cold war.
Kail and Bri only come face-to-face at the annual Teen Mom 2 reunion show, and as a result, their shots at one another are mostly passive aggressive.
And the main weapon in this ongoing conflict is the affection of their mutual ex, Javi Marroquin.
These days, Javi is expecting a child with Lauren Comeau, but at the time that last night’s TM2 was filmed, it was anyone’s guess as to who he would wind up with.

Kailyn met up with her longtime friend Leah Messer in Atlanta in order to record an episode of her Coffee Convos podcast. But the most interesting part of the conversation took place before the official interview began.
A Common Bond
“I think my relationship with Javi is very similar to your relationship with Jeremy, where it’s very different than people ever imagine it to be,” Lowry told Leah, referring to Messer’s complex relationship with ex-husband Jeremy Calvert.
Secret’s Out
Kailyn went on to reveal that Javi has made several attempts to rekindle their romance — but remains strangely hesitant to admit on camera that he wants to get back together.
Calling Him Out
“Javi won’t ever admit it on camera, but just know that man tries to get back with me on a regular basis,” she told Leah.
Not So Subtle
“I could drop a bombshell too but I’ll wait,” Kail said in response to news that Leah and Jeremy had recently hooked up. We wonder what THAT refers to!
Conflicted Exes
“That’s what I don’t understand, is Jeremy and Javi want us to get back together, but they won’t say it on camera because they don’t actually want to get back together,” Kail added.
A Theory
Leah has some thoughts as to why Javi and Jeremy are so reluctant to make their true desires known.

“Their hoes on the side,” Messer offered. “They don’t want to ruin it.”

“I don’t want to be with someone out of convenience,” she said. “I don’t need anyone. I can do things myself, if you know what I mean.”

So Kail didn’t reveal on the podcast that she and Javi hooked up, but she had to know Briana would find out eventually. Speaking of Bri, she had her own Javi drama going on last night …
A Woman Scorned
Briana was livid when Javi went on Kail’s podcast on last week’s TM2. In fact, she was so pissed she essentially kicked him to the curb and barred him from joining her in Miami.
Surgical Summer
Of course, this was no pleasure trip. Bri and her friend were headed to Miami to undergo plastic surgery, and Javi was originally supposed to be the one to help nurse them back to health.

“He’s dismissed,” Bri said of Javi. “He can go ahead and get that attention from his ex-wife,”
Forgot About Dre
Briana had her ex-boyfriend Dre take over Javi’s role as nurse, knowing that the move would seriously get under Marroquin’s skin.

Javi being Javi, he showed up to Miami anyway — and needless to say, it didn’t go well.

“I don’t want to talk to you right now,” Briana said when she saw him. “I’ll smack the sh-t out of you.”

Obviously, Javi has burned quite a few bridges. He may have moved on to a new and seemingly stable relationship, but unfortunately for him, he still has ties to his two most recent exes. Good luck with that one, Javi!
