Last week, rumors that Kailyn Lowry and Javi Marroquin had gotten back together seemed to be everywhere on social media.
Fans were convinced that the troubled former couple had decided to give their marriage a second chance.

Comments made by Javi in a recent interview led fans to the conclusion that he and Kail had decided to give their romance a second chance. It’s not hard to see how his remarks might have been interpreted that way.

“We have our own private discussions just me and her,” Javi said when asked if he and Kail had discussed the topic of reconciliation.

The Teen Mom 2 stars have a son together, Lincoln, and many fans concluded that they had decided to give their marriage a second chance for his sake.
Happier Times
There was a time when Kail and Javi were considered one of the series’ most successful couples. They appeared to be happily married and only seemed to experience real problems when Javi shipped out for a tour of duty with US Air Force.
Appearances Can Be Deceiving
To hear Kail tell it, however, the problems began long before Javi took off for Qatar. She says she’d caught him being unfaithful prior to his tour of duty.
Setting the Record Straight
Now, Kailyn is clearing up the rumors regarding her relationship with Javi. And she is not mincing words when it comes to her ex’s sketchy behavior.

“Javi and I are not getting back together so whatever you’re reading is all bullsh-t,” Kailyn tweeted in response to the rumors.

“Nope, he moves too funny for me,” Kail continued. Fans interpreted the comment as her way of reminding the world that Javi had been unfaithful.

Kail’s initial tweet offered a pretty harsh assessment of Javi’s character. But believe it or not, she wasn’t done with him yet…

“How can you get back with someone who didn’t have your back when y’all were together?” she asked her followers. Obviously, it was a rhetorical question, but many offered answers that weren’t exactly flattering to Javi.

“If you have a child [with] someone IDC how bad it gets, you don’t let someone go after the other parent,” Lowry continued.
An Accusation of Disloyalty
That part of the tirade left some fans feeling confused. It seems Kail executed a sort of mid-tweet time jump, and with the second sentence, she’s no longer referring to her and Javi’s time together. Allow us to explain…
Briana Betrayal
Recently, Javi dated Kail’s TM2 rival, Briana DeJesus. The relationship didn’t last, but it seems Kail is still feeling the sting of that betrayal.

Obviously, we have no way of knowing if Kail and Javi would have reconciled if it weren’t for Briana. What we do know is that Javi’s decision to hook up with Briana seems to have been the nail in the coffin for him and Kailyn.

And Kail had every reason to be upset about the relationship. Briana attacked her on social media on multiple occasions, at one point instructing Lowry to “suck [her] dick.”
Over For Good
Would Kail have considered giving Javi another chance had he not hooked up with Briana? We may never know for sure, but we do know that Lowry is 100 percent over the relationship these days.

Interestingly, Kail’s tweets about Javi’s shadiness come on the heels of several signs that she and Marroquin had finally reached an amicable co-parenting arrangement.
