When Jenelle Evans started getting into guns, many assumed it was only a matter of time before an incident like this took place.
But even Jenelle’s harshest critics didn’t think it would happen this quickly.
Radar Online is reporting today that Evans pulled a gun on another driver during an altercation in her native North Carolina.
Her eldest son, 8-year-old Kaiser, was in the car at the time of the incident.
The incident takes place just weeks after Jenelle joined the NRA and began ranting about her newfound love of firearms on social media.

The Incident
According to a police report, Jenelle called 911 on April 26 and stated that her son was injured when another driver “purposely slammed on the brakes†in front of her. However, she left out several key pieces of information…
A Pre-Emptive Call
It seems that Jenelle called police knowing that it would be her word against the accounts of several witnesses following a frightening incident that might ensure she never regains custody of Jace.
What Really Happened
According to a report from the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office Communication Center CFS, another driver claims that Jenelle “hit his truck, ran over his mailbox and pulled a gun on him.â€Â
That Famous Temper
According to witnesses, Jenelle became irate while driving behind the man and proceeded to follow him to his house, where she threatened him physically.
One Crazy Lady
“A crazy lady followed him to his house, she is fixing to get shot,†one onlooker told the police. Anyone who’s ever seen Teen Mom 2 knows that’s an apt description.
Flipping Out Is What She Does
“She was driving blocking traffic, he tried to pass her on the inside like everyone else and she flipped out,” the witness adds.
Bring It On
The other driver claimed that after Jenelle followed him all the way home and onto his property, he “started yelling to bring it on” at her. Never a good idea to taunt the Carolina Hurricane.
Doing Damage
According to the police report, Jenelle stands accused of hitting two cars parked in her victim’s driveway before pulling a gun on him. “Suspect [Evans] hit two vehicles in the yard and then she pulled a 10-84/G,†reads the report. “10-84/G” is police code for a civilian-owned firearm.
Jenelle’s Version
“He was tailgating me the whole way, I had my son in the car because my son was at therapy,†Jenelle explained when she called 911.
“So Officer, I HAD to Threaten His Life!”
“He’s been tailgating me the whole time in traffic. Would not stop,” she added. “Then he races in front of me and purposely slammed on the brakes at 70 something miles an hour.â€Â
So…He Was Trying to Get Away?!
“This guy is trying his hardest for me not to be behind him anymore,†she said in a hilarious moment of self-incrimination. “He is literally going crazy, swerving in and out of lanes.†With all her arrests, you’d think Jenelle would have a better idea of how the law works.
A Good Reason NOT to Chase Someone on the Highway
Evans attempted to gain the sympathy of police, telling one officer, “My son, his head almost got whiplash and almost hit the dash. That’s how bad I had to slam on the brakes.â€Â

So Jenelle told police that she chased a driver who was desperately trying to get away from her, then with her son still in the car, plowed into two other vehicles and pulled a gun on the guy. She’s not the greatest self-advocate.

Horrendous Timing
Just hours after news of the Parkland, Florida school shooting, David Eason posted a photo of Jenelle shooting a rifle as part of an unusual Valentine’s Day tribute. Fans encouraged Eason to remove the image from his Instagram page … and that’s when all hell broke loose.
Dave Is Done
Eason launched a homophobic tirade against fans who dared to suggest that he show some respect to the families of children who were gunned down. Shortly thereafter, he was fired by MTV as a result of his bigoted comments.
Taking Up the Torch
As though daring her bosses to fire her as well, Jenelle became more vocal than ever about her love of guns following the David incident. Last month, she proudly announced that she had joined the NRA.

Is Jenelle Actually DANGEROUS?
“Because of David pulling a knife, everyone now has to go through metal detectors before entering the soundstage, but there’s still a concern that Jenelle could bring a weapon to set,” the insider adds.
A Fine Line
Many apparently feel that producers overplayed their hand when they welcomed Jenelle back to the show. they wanted drama, but got much more than they bargained for: “A lot of the cast and crew are feeling angry at the show’s producers for allowing it to get to this point,†another source told The Ashley. “They wanted the drama, and now it’s too big for them to handle.â€Â
Custody Crisis
And of course, all of this takes amidst the backdrop of Jenelle’s ongoing fight for custody of Jace. Needless to say, this won’t help her case. But Jenelle doesn’t seem remotely bothered …
The Eternal Optimist
Sources say that despite her many, many brushes with the law, Jenelle remains convinced that she’ll get off scot-free this time. We’re not so sure that’ll be the case. In fact, knowing Ms. Evans, she’ll make the situation worse before she even gets to court.
