Jenelle Evans swears she is in a happy and healthy marriage.
The veteran Teen Mom 2 star has denied all allegations of abuse against her husband, David Eason.
Evans has even recorded a video in which she lays out a passionate defense of Eason as a man who would never hurt her or harm her.
But scenes from a different video may tell a different story.
A few weeks since Evans was rushed to the hospital after some sort of confrontation with Eason, the MTV personality shared a video of her; her husband; and her kids at a pumpkin patch.
“Butterflies in our tummies!” Evans wrote as a caption to the footage, which featured her and her loved ones bumping along in some kind of train-like ride.
However, astute social media users have slowed down this video and studied Jenelle’s neck area, taking note of where Eason allegedly hit or shoved her earlier this month.
There DOES appear to be significant bruising there.

When Did The Rumors of Abuse Begin?
Police responded to reports of a domestic disturbance on David and Jenelle’s property on Saturday, October 13. At the time of the initial reporting, there weren’t many details available to the public.
Did Eason Assault Evans in Some Way?
This was the prevailing assumption, considering the couple’s contentious history and Eason’s very clear problem with anger.
Then, There was the 911 Call…
This seemed to be the most damning evidence to date of Eason’s abusive nature. “My husband, he just assaulted me,â Evans tells the operator, through years, in this upsetting call.
What Else Did She Detail?
âÂÂHe pinned me down on the ground in the yard, and I think I heard my fâÂÂking collarbone crack and I canâÂÂt move my arms,” Jenelle added to the dispatcher.
What Caused the Confrontation?
There’s no excuse for laying a hand on a woman, of course, but Evans said David âÂÂgot violent because he was drinking.â Not exactly a shocker, right?

Both Sides Have Denied The Allegation
Eason, of course, says he didn’t lay a hand on his wife. But Jenelle says the same, telling E! News after the 911 audio leaked out: “It was a drunk and dramatic misunderstanding. Everything is great…We are totally fine.”
No, Really, We’re Fine!
Emphasized Evans in this E! interview: “We are feeling fine. Just taking time off social media…time to focus on ourselves and our family.”
Okay, But What About This Photo?
The social media users mentioned previously broke down Jenelle’s latest video and posted screen shots such as the one here. Take a look at the collar bone area, which is where Evans claimed Eason focused his wrath just a few weeks ago. Looks VERY black and blue, doesn’t it?
Here is Another Close-Up
“I am not a conspiracy theorist, but that is no shadow. It is clearly a bruise,” wrote one Instagram user upon examining this picture.
And One More:
Added Jenelle in her 911 call: “IâÂÂm recovering from a surgery on Monday. I canâÂÂt breathe. I have four kids in the house with me right now. TheyâÂÂre all sleeping. I donâÂÂt know what to do. He left the house. I donâÂÂt know what to do right now.”
YIKES! So… What Now?
Not much, as far as we know. Just Jenelle trying hard to prove that her family life is boring and normal and full of love, sharing photos of her recent pumpkin patch visit, such as the one above.
She Also Recorded a Different Kind of Video
This one was filmed at home and used to explain her situation, which, again, she insists is fine and healthy and normal. She filmed it inside her bedroom closet.
Calm Down, People!
“I know everyone’s concerned about me,” says Evans. “And I know everyone wants to know ‘Is she OK, how are the kids, blah blah blah blah blah.'”
Yes. So Tell Us: How are Things?
“Everything’s fine,” Evans said once again in this video, which was meant to calm down fans and put an end to the non-stop rumors surrounding her husband.
I’ve Been Here Before, You Guys
“I’ve been in so many domestic violence situations in the past that I would not put up with it now,” Jenelle insists in the video. “So I don’t know why you guys would think that I would continue to stay in this relationship if I was being abused.”
No One Has Ever Believed Me
Evans hinted that she was involved in an abusive relationship with Courtland Rogers, but that no one believed her then and no one does now… despite the fact that she has never really lied: “I was always telling you the truth about everything that happened with every one of my relationships,” she insists. “And if you don’t believe me, I don’t know what to f-cking tell you.”
In Conclusion?
Evans says she is “sick” of the cruel words directed at Eason, that their marriage is in a good place and that she will, indeed, play a key role on the next season of Teen Mom 2.

The Hate is in YOUR Heart
“Hate us if you will but thatâÂÂs your choice. #FamilyFirst #FamilyIsForever,” wrote Jenelle as a recent caption to a photo of herself and Eason, clearly defending herself and taking a jab at her haters.
Even If Eason Didn’t Assault Evans, The Guy Still Sucks
