Following years of bigotry, abusive behavior, and pathological dishonesty, there’s certainly a debate to be had over whether or not Jenelle Evans deserves a happy ending.
But regardless of whether she’s worthy of it, it seems Jenelle found her bliss when she fled to Nashville and filed for divorce from David Eason.
Evans has vowed to steer clear of social media in the months leading up to her first divorce hearing (likely at the behest of her lawyers).
But she just couldn’t resist taking to Twitter to tell fans how blissfully happy she is this week.

Yes, Jenelle wants the whole world to know that her life has improved dramatically in the 7 weeks since she left David.

“I just want to tell everyone, I am sooooo happy with life right now,” Evans tweeted.

The Network
It’s anyone’s guess who belongs to that support network, but it’s worth noting that Jenelle has mended her relationships with Nathan Griffith and Barbara Evans in recent weeks.

As Evans’ social media followers know, the former Teen Mom 2 star has spent a lot of time talking about how gloriously happy she is in recent weeks.

“My journey WILL continue to be shared,” she wrote on her Instagram Story last week. “No matter what happens. Thanks for all your support everyone!”
Taking the Steps
When known substance abusers suddenly start talking about journeys and support networks, it’s often taken as a sign that they’re in recovery, but that doesn’t seem to be the case with Jenelle.

Fans and critics alike were quick to respond to Evans’ tweet. Some were supportive — and some were understandably skeptical.
Sort of a Case-By-Case Thing
“Happy people don’t have to tell people they’re happy,” wrote one follower. And while that’s not always true, these sudden declarations from Jenelle are a little suspect.

This tweeter accused Jenelle of lying like a dog. When she was criticized, she replied, “There is a difference between mean, and being honest. I’m being honest.”

In case you somehow forgot, David Eason shot and killed Jenelle’s puppy, Nugget, earlier this year during one of his infamous fits of rage.

Jenelle was not blameless in the incident. She lied to the cops on David’s behalf and insisted that her kids continue living with a violent psychopath, even though other living arrangements had already been made.

Of course it’s important to remember for that for the last two years at least, Jenelle has (allegedly) been a victim of abuse, and many of her actions might have been the result of trauma or constant stress.
