Javi Marroquin has three important status updates to share with his fans.
The Teen Mom 2 star is in the news often these days now that his MTV series is back on the air, so he was a popular interview subject on the red carpet of the OK! Summer Kickoff Party.
In a revealing Q&A with the sponsor tabloid, Marroquin opens up about the three women in his life:
- Ex-girlfriend Briana DeJesus.
- Ex-wife Kailyn Lowry.
- Current lover Lauren Comeau.

A Trip Back in Time
The new season of Teen Mom 2 was filmed months ago, meaning Javi is only just starting dating Briana on camera, a relationship that came as quite a shock to Kailyn on the opening episodes.

And MTV has wasted no time in playing up this awkward situation, having already released backstage footage of Briana, Javi and Kailin going at it outside the latter’s dressing room. Watch the above video to see what we mean.

Or in current times, we should say? Javi took us by surprise by providing us with an update on where he stands with both his ex-wife and his ex-girlfriend.
A Lot on Javi’s Plate
“It’s so hard right now because we’re kind of reliving it all [on the new season], and obviously me and Briana are no longer together,” Javi explained to OK!. “Kail sees our side with what me and Briana we’re talking about, so it hurts her. I gotta deal with her, and deal with the world, and the audience seeing it.”
Out with the Old?
Where do things stand with Briana? They look perfectly content these days on TV, but… “We don’t talk,†Javi said at this event. “It is what it is. No hard feelings.”
Is Briana Equally Chill About This?
Last we heard, she was on Tinder, happily moving on from Javi and not bitter about their split.
But Don’t Get Her Started on Kailyn!
That’s another story. “She’s a cry baby,” DeJesus said recently of Kailyn. “The whole Javi situation, it’s already in the past. She needs to get over it. Let it go!”

Concluded Briana in this chat with Radar Online, in reference to Lowry: “She doesn’t mess up my mood. She’s obsessed. There is nothing I can do about it.”

Does he share Briana’s disdain for Lowry? No, actually. Not right now. “We’re doing a lot better communicating. If something bothers her she calls me. We’re doing really well,” Marroquin said to OK!.
What About That Ring?
Ah, yes, that engagement ring, the one we saw Javi purchase on the new Teen Mom 2 trailer. Well… “I still got the ring, trust me,” he says. “The amount of money paid for that ring, I got it. Trust me. I’m gonna try to get my money back. At least some of it.”

Would he give it to another woman? Considering he already bought it? “I think that’s bad luck,” he says with a laugh.

Yes, this pretty young woman is now dating Marroquin… and things appear to be going VERY well. But not well enough for her to be wearing that rock.

The Teen Mom 2 reunion is being filmed this weekend and Javi says he “tried to get out of it.” Alas, he’s under contract, so we’ll see him on stage alongside DeJesus and Lowry. “I wanna talk to Kail and [just] get out,” Marroquin says.
This Will Make Kailyn Happy
On a recent episode of her podcast, upon assuming Javi would NOT attend the reunion, Lowey expressed annoyance, saying of her baby daddy: “He is basically bitching out, at a time where I feel like he needs to speak the f-ck up, I’m a little salty. I feel like, if he gets out of going to the reunion and I have to deal with Briana and that drama by myself, I’m not going to be a happy camper.”
Because Briana Just Makes Her Angry
The understandable tension between Javi’s exes is now on display each week. “Could you imagine someone you work with is dating your ex-husband? It’s weird,†Kailyn told Leah Messer episode of Teen Mom 2, stating the obvious. “It’s messy. I don’t think she’s a good person.”
Then, It … Was… On!
“Javi is telling me ya’ll are basically trying to be together. I honestly don’t care if you all date, but he needs to be real about it and you need to be real about it,” Lowry told DeJesus on this same installment.
War Has Been Waged
“You’re salty that Javi is moving on,” Briana replied, to which Kailyn shot back: “I don’t give a s**t if he moves on Briana.”

Marroquin is with Lauren and sharing photos of his son, Lincoln, as you can see here. “My guy,” he wrote as a caption, trying to make it clear that he wants a break from the drama.
