Earlier today, we reported on news that Jenelle Evans was rushed to a hospital last week following an altercation with her husband, David Eason.
Neither party has addressed the allegations publicly — but that doesn’t mean they’re ignoring this latest scandal.

Jenelle just issues a bizarre statement through her rep, while David — well David keeps finding new ways to hit rock bottom.

David and Jenelle have endured many, many ups and downs over the course of their brief marriage, but this might be the couple’s lowest point yet.
An Ugly Altercation
According to police reports first obtained by The Ashley’s Reality Roundup, two police cars and an ambulance were dispatched to Jenelle and David’s home in response to a domestic disturbance on Saturday, October 13.
The Report
“It was called in as an assault,†says the Chief of 911 Operations for Columbus County.
The Result
“The female was advised proper action,†says the Operations Chief. “[The officers] advised what legal action she could take.†The source adds that Jenelle chose not to press charges.
Downplaying the Situation?
She also refused ambulance transport to the hospital. “The female was transported to the hospital via private vehicle instead,” says the police insider.
Explaining It Away
In the hours since news of the assault went public, Jenelle has continued to try and convince fans that there’s no need to be concerned.
A Small Gathering
According to a statement issued to People magazine, Jenelle’s rep claims that she and Eason “had friends over Saturday night and they had a bonfire on her property.â€Â
A Freak Accident
“Jenelle ended up tripping and falling by the fire,†the insider added.
Conflicting Reports
That statement doesn’t jibe with the police report from the incident, which holds that the person who called 911 did so in order to report an assault.

People and other media outlets have attempted to reach Jenelle for comment, but to no avail.

Adding to the bizarre nature of the incident is the fact that, according to The Ashley, Jenelle isn’t represented by anyone, thus making the identity of the person who issued the statement a total mystery.

Judging from the comments and the reactions on Twitter, fans are shocked that David would post such a photo of his wife — seemingly without her knowledge or consent — so soon after she was hospitalized twice in the span of a single week.
