Jenelle Evans and David Eason aren’t the best parents, and that’s just a fact.
Sure, we could say a lot worse, but the best parents wouldn’t have their children temporarily removed from their care by CPS, so we’re just sticking with the cold hard facts right now, OK?
So yes, they’re not the best, and they’ve done a lot of things that a lot of people don’t agree with.
But this latest stunt with poor little baby Ensley?
It’s going to drive people WILD.

David Eason was born and raised a country boy in the wilds of North Carolina, OK?
For Real Though
He’s probably the biggest country boy you’ve ever even heard of. No one in this whole entire country has ever or will ever be as country as him.
Exhausting
At least that’s what he and Jenelle Evans would like everyone to believe.
Gross
Every time he’s done something awful, Jenelle’s made some kind of statement about how “that’s just how he was raised, he doesn’t know any better.”
Memories
Remember when he made all those gross homophobic and transphobic statements on Twitter last year, the ones that got him fired? That’s the excuse he gave then, that he was raised to hate all gay people and so we can’t really blame him for it. Seriously, that’s what she said.
Disgusting
And after he killed Nugget — well, after he killed Nugget and the police decided to close their investigation — she said the same thing. He even cried during an interview because he simply didn’t realize that violently killing a family pet would be such a big deal.
But Wait, There’s More!
And we’re not just talking about this in terms of Jenelle’s defenses for him. For the past year or two, he’s been steadily growing into the biggest redneck you ever did see. He seems to get a kick out of it.

Just look at this photo from a few years ago — when he got with Jenelle, he was so much different. He looked different, that’s for sure, and wasn’t the Southern boy caricature he is now.

Like, look at this guy. it’s a bizarre transformation, right?
Wow
Before he met Jenelle, he had a job as a welder, and now he spends his days flying Confederate flags, hunting and killing literally any kind of animal, and growing his beard out. It’s wild.
Oh Man
And the guns … he may have always liked guns, but boy, he sure does get off on them now. Remember last year when he was investigated by the Secret Service because he shot an assault rifle on Instagram and tagged Trump in it?
The Point
What we’re saying is that the guy seems to really love playing up this gun-loving, animal-killing image for all the Teen Mom fans who love to hate him.
Right?
So why WOULDN’T he get his two-year-old daughter in on the action?

David shared this photo yesterday — that’s Ensley holding a dead squirrel and standing next to a rifle, just in case you needed help processing it.

David is a big fan of deleting negative comments, so there were only a few in the actual post, so let’s head over to Twitter to really hear what the people think, OK?

“Real hunters hunt only when they need to feed their family to survive ..you David Eason hunt for sadistic pleasure..Jenelle and David Eason need to try to stay relevant any cost..losers/wantabes/ hasbeens. Vile swamp land trash..” a particularly upset person wrote.
Interesting
Meanwhile, back on his Instagram page, people are complimenting him on teaching his daughter valuable life skills and spending quality time with her, because the world is a big and diverse place.
But …
The thing is though, and it pains us to say this, but this really isn’t as bad as some people are making it out to be.

The gun thing, to be clear, is completely awful. We’re not experts, but toddlers really shouldn’t be handling guns or even standing this close to a loaded gun, right?
However …
But some people do eat squirrel. It’s not like he hunted then fried up a kitten (not to give him any ideas).
The Truth
His comment section shows several people talking about how they like to eat squirrel, and as annoying as it is when he goes on and on about how “country” he is, this really is just a country thing to do.
Then Again …
But with that in mind, it’s very possible that that’s the only reason he’s doing any of this — to get that kind of rise out of people.
The Point Is …
Either way, Ensley is too young to be exposed to all of this, and most of us can probably agree on that.

If these are the kinds of horrors that the Eason family is exposing us to now, we simply can’t wait to see what they’ll offer up for Halloween!
