On 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? we have seen Chantel’s mom clash with Pedro even when he isn’t in the room.
Though Chantel’s family was very accepting of their relationship, family clashes have been a huge factor for this couple.
The drama is endless.
But now, both Chantel and Pedro appear to be dropping hints that their tumultuous marriage may have come to an end.
If so, that’s a real shame, because The Family Chantel airs later this year.
Take a look and see why fans worry (or hope!) that the couple has split:
Is it over?
Chantel and Pedro are one of 90 Day Fiance’s most enduring couples — they even have their own spinoff that airs later this year. But have they, behind the scenes, already broken up?
Remember how they met

Chantel wanted a Spanish teacher. Pedro wanted to learn more English. Thanks to the wonders of modern technology, they could teach each other from other countries.
It didn’t hurt that they were both young and hot
Chantel decided to visit Pedro in the Dominican Republic, where the two of them fell in love.
Then came the lies
Chantel told her family that Pedro was visiting the US on a student visa. The truth? Pedro arrived in the US on a K-1 visa. The two of them were engaged to be married.
Chantel finally came clean

She fessed up only six days before the wedding. It went surprisingly well. Truth be told? We think that her family had guessed at least part of the truth. Only River, Chantel’s brother, didn’t seem to take it well. He and Pedro STILL do not get along.
They got married

So many 90 Day Fiance couples fall apart at the end of the 90 Days if not before, but these two tied the knot. In fact, they started planning a second wedding in the Dominican Republic so that Pedro’s family can get in on the action.
They’ve been part of this franchise for years
Chantel and Pedro joined Happily Ever After? in 2017 following their season of original recipe 90 Day Fiance. That was Season 2. It’s now Season 4. And, as we mentioned, they’re getting a spinoff, titled The Family Chantel.
Speaking of The Family Chantel …

That is the phrase that Pedro used to refer to Chantel’s family … on the same episode on which he got into a physical altercation (really more of a brawl) with Chantel’s family.
He feels like Chantel isn’t on his side

Chantel is obviously torn, and doesn’t want to have a child yet until her husband gets along with the rest of her family. Pedro takes that as a personal insult rather than a responsible choice.
That fight should never happen again

Chantel’s mom (who LOVES being on television, bless her) purchased a taser, and has named it “Shocky.” She promises that no one is ever going to get violent in her household again.
But that was last year’s mess
And while the aftermath of the fight is still airing on Happily Ever After? … fans think that, behind the scenes, Pedro is acting single.
He cannot quit with the thirst traps
His recent photos seem to be devoted to reminding fans of how hot he is. We get it. But usually people who do that are either Instagram Influencers or are single. Is Pedro single?
Fans think so — and Chantel sees it
Chantel’s reply of “seriously” is ambiguous. Is she roasting Pedro for posting thotty pics with his tatas out as if he’s fishing for attention from followers? Because spouses might do that. OR is she saying that he’s coming across as desperate now that he’s single.
It’s hard to say
To be clear, right now, it doesn’t look like Pedro’s hooking up with or DMing anyone, even though a promo for this season of Happily Ever After? did show him dancing very flirtily with a woman who is not Chantel.
There’s more …
Chantel also used her Instagram Stories to confirm that Pedro does not get along with her friends.
Is Pedro the problem?

When it comes to things like the fight with Chantel’s family, we could see wrongdoing on the part of River, of Pedro’s sister Nicole, and arguably on Chantel herself, though it did appear that Pedro was the one who started the physical altercation.
But if he’s also still clashing with her friends …
If Pedro is the common factor in all of these conflicts, one has to wonder if he just isn’t agreeable. We’d implore him to be nicer, but that wouldn’t make for very good reality television, we suppose.
Are they together?

We guess that we’ll have to stay tuned for the rest of the season, the Tell All special, and The Family Chantel to find out. These two seem to be a little too good at abiding by TLC’s confidentiality rules to blurt it out on social media. So far, anyway.
