How precious is little bitty Vaeda Baltierra, Catelynn and Tyler’s brand new baby girl?
SO precious, right?
She really is just absolutely adorable, and that’s why we were so happy to see that they just shared another new photo of her sweet little face.
But then the drama started.
And boy, did that drama get intense …
Hello, Baltierras!
So here’s the Baltierra family as of last month — there’s Catelynn, Tyler, Nova, and baby Vaeda.

Get Ready …
It’s nice to start out with a few sweet baby photos, because now we have to get into the bad stuff. Which, honestly, has lasted for quite a long time now.

Years, even.
A Quick Recap
We won’t delve into every single detail, but Catelynn and Tyler’s relationship hit an all time low last year basically because he felt she wasn’t supporting him and his mental health after he held down the fort while she did two separate six-week stays at a treatment center in Arizona for her own mental health.
Reality TV Doesn’t Lie
As we saw on Teen Mom OG, he seemed extremely frustrated with her, and he hinted at divorce more than once.
Oh Dang
They did go on a couples retreat, but it was there that Tyler told her he wanted to do a trial separation.
Weird Timing
And in the middle of all of this, she got pregnant.
Stronger Than Ever?
They went through with the separation anyway, and since then, it seems like they’ve worked out their issues. They’ve been very affectionate on social media, just like in the old days, and all in all things look like they’re all better.

And on February 21st, Vaeda was born!
What Now?
Since then, Catelynn and Tyler have been sharing some photos here and there, but since they’ve got a newborn, their hands have got to be pretty full.

But not too full that they couldn’t create a brand new scandal for themselves!

This week, Tyler shared this darling photo, and for his caption he wrote “Vaeda is a month old this week & idk how it’s possible, but she keeps getting cuter!”

And the comments … well, they got weird FAST.
What?!
Because according to many, many people, Vaeda doesn’t look like Tyler.

People think she actually looks so different that there’s a chance Tyler isn’t even her father.

“She’s so cute but she def looks like she’s got a lil chocolate in her lol,” another wrote.

Someone decided to get extra graphic and write “It looks like Tyler’s wife had someone else in her.”

Someone told him “Lmao DNA test boo,” and another follower specified that he needed to reach out to Maury for a paternity test.

“That’s a black baby, may need to check that rehab for the dad,” advised one follower.
A Whole Lot of Controversy
So the gist of all of this is that many, many people believe that Vaeda looks biracial, which would, of course, mean that Tyler is not her biological father.

And honestly, that’s absolute nonsense.

The baby looks so much like Tyler, and she looks just like her big sister, too. Both big sisters, actually, because from what we’ve seen of Carly, well, Tyler’s genes sure are strong.

Catelynn and Tyler have said that Vaeda has jaundice, which explains her coloring.
