For what feels like the dozenth time, Ashley Martson dumped Jay Smith. Yes, once again, he cheated.
This time, they had kept their reconciliation a secret. Ashley clearly didn’t want to get bombarded with common sense — or worse, shaming.
This time, the story went that he had allegedly impregnated his latest side piece.
Now, Jay has condemned Ashley’s pregnancy claim, insisting that no one is pregnant because of him.
After Ashley shared her side of the story In Touch Weekly, Jay had the gall to show up at her house.
Quite frankly, this sounds a little scary. Can she get another PFA?
This split got ugly
To be fair, the last two breakups, both caused by Jay cheating, were also bad. But this time it led to a confrontation at Ashley’s house.
First, a quick recap.
“I took Jay back once again,” Ashley quickly recapped. Yes, she knows that it was not wise. She’s heard it all.
Of course he cheated
“However … Jay confirmed it himself on the phone that he did indeed have another girl who is claiming he got her pregnant,” Ashley shared.
Pregnant or not, that’s it
“Regardless [of whether or not she is actually pregnant], it’s clear he cheated on me,” Ashley noted. Yep. That’s what he does.
At this point, she just wants to move on
“I am distraught yet again and am picking up the pieces and doing my best to move on,” she shared with fans.
Jay didn’t like her going public
“No one is pregnant from me,” he furiously and repeatedly insisted. It’s not clear if he’s saying that the test came back negative, if the girl isn’t really pregnant, or if he’s just denying it without being sure.
He basically calls Ashley an attention skank
Jay strongly implied that, unlike Ashley, he had no need to “lie” just to get “attention.” He was definitely shading Ashley.
He thinks that Ashley just likes drama
“I don’t really care about the attention, [but] some people do,†Jay accused. “That’s why they’re making a scene out of everything. … I don’t want no argument with no one. I’m just doing me.”
Ashley’s friends have delivered an update
Her friend Michelle spoke to In Touch Weekly, beginning: “Ashley contacted me to let me know what was going on,†Michelle said. “[We] decided to have a girls nights with the kids to take her mind of what was going on.”
That’s when the trouble started
“I went to Ashley’s around 4 [p.m.] and Ashley started getting blocked calls. I answered, and it was Jay,” Michelle reveals.
Eventually, he tried to convey a message to Ashley
“He hung up when he realized it wasn’t Ashley,” Michelle shares. “All he said was, ‘Do you have a minute?’ He then called from the tattoo shop phone and said, ‘Michelle, please tell Ashley [the other woman] isn’t pregnant.”
Here’s Jay’s story
According to Michelle, Jay claimed: “‘She was lying. I ghosted her so she made it up to talk to me. Are you guys home?’ I stated, ‘No,’ even though we were.”
Gosh he sounds pushy
“He then called again 30 minutes later and I picked up and said, ‘Ashley gave me your belongings. Can I bring them to you tomorrow?” Michelle recalls. “He stated, ‘I’m outside to get my stuff. I see your cars. I know you’re there.'”
He helped himself
For some reason they allowed Jay inside — maybe he still has a key — and Jay and his friends started helping themselves to Ashley’s food. Michelle opines that perhaps Jay was hoping that Ashley would make a scene and hoped to provoke a response.
He tried to make off with something of Ashley’s
“The only thing she said was, ‘Jay, take my coat off,’†Michelle reports. “He had her winter coat on and was trying to leave with it. Finally, he took it off after I yelled at him and left. He … burned out in her development, leaving tire marks.”
Jay claims that his latest side piece was hysterical
“The girl that’s saying she is pregnant is lying,†Jay said in a message, according to Ashley’s friend Carina. “She had keys to my house and came in freaking out about being pregnant. The next day, I made her take a test in front of me and it was negative. She is doing this and other girls do this to scare guys into staying.” The guy has such a s–tty opinion of women. That must be his excuse to treat them the way that he does.
Finally, Ashley weighs in
“My only comment would be that I don’t care to see him or speak to him,” she tells In Touch Weekly.
How did she find out about Jay’s (latest) side piece?
“I would guess he only told me she was pregnant because she backed him into a corner saying she would tell me if he didn’t,” Ashley speculates.
That’s her only explanation
“He lies and hides everything, and it makes no sense why he would tell me without confirmation besides for that reason,” she explains.
She blames herself
“I was stupid for getting back with him,” Ashley expresses. “I deserve what I got.” We might agree with the first — foolish, not stupid — but not with the second. A cheater is still the bad guy for cheating, no matter how many times he does it.
Here’s what she said on Instagram
it has since been edited, and currently reads: “So after I put out what Jay did to f–k things up again he showed up at my house. What went down? But Jay… please stop calling me from blocked #s, stop showing up, leave me alone, and f–k off.”

Well, until next time. Three breakups and who knows how many side pieces? Nobody is willing to commit themselves to a prediction that they won’t get back together. Ashley deserves so much better. We hope that, deep down, she knows that.
