Lady Gaga has her hand in every industry. She acts, she sings pop hits and she once turned “Born This Way” into a country jam.
Lionel Richie
Lionel Richie owned the pop charts and the adult charts. He then took aim at country with the tracks “Deep River Woman” and “Stuck on You.”
Bon Jovi
He’s Jersey born and bred, but Bon Jovi took a trip south in 2006 for “‘Who Says You Can’t Go Home,” his duet with Jennifer Nettles.
Tom Jones
In 1976, Tom Jones released “Say You’ll Stay Until Tomorrow,” which hit No. 1 on the Billboard country music chart. In total, he placed 10 songs on country’s Top 40, including “Darlin,” “Touch Me (I’ll Be Your Fool Once More),” “A Woman’s Touch” and 1981’s “Lady Lay Down.”
Ray Charles
Charles owned the worlds of R&B, gospel and Jazz when he surprised fans in 1962 by releasing the groundbreaking album “Modern Sounds in Country And Western Music.”
Julio Iglesias
Julio Iglesias had his roots strongly implanted in the world of Latin music. But then he teamed with Willie Nelson on “To All the Girls I’ve Loved Before.” It rose to number-one.
Jerry Lee Lewis
In 1957, Jerry Lee Lewis owned the pop charts with “Whole Lotta Shakin’ Going On” and “Great Balls of Fire.” But he released a successful string of country hits throughout the ’60s and ’70s, actually racking up 49 Top 40 Billboard country hits in all.

We’re premature, but Cyndi Lauper says she’ll release an album of only country songs in 2016.
Kid Rock
Kid Rock first entered into the country music genre with Sheryl Crow. They found huge success with the hit song “Picture.”
Uncle Kracker
Kracker is Kid Rock’s protege. After the release of his second album, the artist became friends with Kenny Chesney. The two even toured together, with Chesney eventually releasing “When the Sun Goes Down” which featured Kracker as a guest.
Gwyneth Paltrow
Gwyneth Paltrow recorded the song âÂÂComing Homeâ for the song Country Song. She even performed it live during the 83rd Annual Academy Awards ceremony.
