This Sunday, Oprah Winfrey will sit down with members of Whitney Houston’s family, including her sister Patricia and her daughter Bobbi Kristina.
Did the late singer’s sibling see any signs that her loved one was headed down such a destructive path? That she would pass away at such an early age? Yes and no.
“The handwriting was kind of on the wall,” Patricia tells Oprah in one of the following videos. “I would be kidding myself to say otherwise.”
However, she added that Whitney’s life appeared to be headed in a positive direction. Finally.
“Things were changing, things were really changing with her, very much so,” Patricia said. “It wasn’t about the substance abuse or anything like that relative to the latter days or anything like that, I think it was more of lifestyle.
“I saw her chasing a dream, looking for love in all the wrong places.”
