The two of them simply have different tastes, different expectations, and different ideas about how to have a good time.
When Yara arrives at her new home in New Orleans from Ukraine, she sees it as the bachelor pad that it is.
Even so, she wants to unpack, unwind, and spend time with her fiance.
Instead, Jovi wants to take her on a tour of New Orleans, seeing major sights — which doesn’t go as he had hoped.
He clearly doesn’t understand the woman he’s going to marry at all.
Things get worse, as you can see in this clip from the episode, when Jovi invites Yara to visit his mother who lives some distance away.
Yara is fine with the visit, but not with staying the night at her house.
Jovi turns his invitation into a demand, and things get worse from there.
