According to sources, speaking on the condition of anonymity, these professions simply couldn’t coincide successfully, as an insider told People that dueling careers are to blame for Reggie and Kim’s break-up.
“Reggie really wanted her in New Orleans when he was there playing but Kim is traveling more than ever,” one source said. “She has so much going on, it just wasn’t physically possible for her to be there the entire season. With their schedules, it wasn’t realistic anymore.”
What about a long-distance relationship? Surely a lot of celebrities couples don’t spend all that much time together.
“It just wasn’t fair to either of them,” the insider said of that arrangement. “They wanted it to be all or nothing.”
