Kim Kardashian has a lot going on these days.
Whether you love her or hate her, there’s no denying that she’s dealing with the aftermath of getting robbed at gunpoint in Paris last fall.
Moreover, she’s living with a husband who suffered a mental breakdown just a few weeks later and has obvious issues of his own.
Kardashian is also responsible for the welfare of two young humans, North West and Saint West, which people often forget about.
Not only that, Kris Jenner is her mother on a daily basis. That can’t be easy and isn’t the sort of thing that we’d wish on anyone.
Still, following the events on this week’s episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, viewers were treated to a look ahead.
And in the process, they were taken back – and aback.
In particular, a scene from the April 2 installment previews the 36-year-old talking about the possible expansion of her immediate family.
Yes, she wants to get pregnant again.
“I’m going to try to have one more baby,” Kardashian says in the following preview, adding: “I want my kids to have siblings."
As we know, Kim’s first two pregnancies were marked by major complications, something she acknowledges is a risk again.
"The doctors don’t think it’s safe for me,” she says, but that’s not going to hinder her efforts to make another brother or sister for North and Saint.
During her second pregnancy and then after giving birth to son Saint, Kardashian talked openly about the health issues she faced while expecting.
In an interview with some magazine called "C," for example, she described the following in August of 2015: "I had so many complications."
"I had this condition called placenta accreta."
"There were a couple little operations to fix all that, so that created a little hole in my uterus, which I think made it really tough to get pregnant again."
It’s therefore understandable why Kris Jenner responds below to her daughter’s surprising statement by saying she’s not sure about this.
Babies are great, after all – Kris had six of them! – but at what cost? Kris doesn’t want Kim to do "something that puts [her] in danger."
It’s not even clear, of course, whether the mother of two even could get pregnant for a third time, as noted in her old quote above.
Kim referred to North as her "miracle" baby the first time around, and Saint was even more improbable. Is a third even realistic?
Not to get all skeptical, but perhaps she’s saying all this just to juice up the dwindling ratings for Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
We would not put it past her. You?
