A KFC customer claims he was served a deep fried rat instead of whatever she expected to be served. Presumably some chicken something.

Fortunately for us, he documented this on Facebook.

The California customer, Devorise Dixon, says he was looking forward to some chicken tenders, not a rat that tasted “hard and rubbery.”

“It was very nasty,” he said. “I spit it out. I looked down at my hand and I realized that it was in the shape of a rat with a tail and everything.”

Dixon put the "food" in the freezer, but not before posting video of it on Facebook and returning to restaurant with photos and his receipt.

“The manager actually freaked out, confirmed that it was a rat,” Dixon said. “She apologized for it. They actually just offered me a free meal.”

Dixon declined the offer and hired a lawyer instead.

KFC doubts Dixon’s claims, saying its chicken tenders vary in size and shape and that there is “no evidence to support Dixon’s claim.”

Still, they say they will work with him to find out what happened if they can. KFC told CNN they have reached out to him but not heard hack.

“We have made various attempts to contact him, but he is refusing to either talk to us personally or through a lawyer," KFC said.

"Nor has he come forth with the chicken piece in question."
