As much fun it is to believe in people, to hope against hope, to keep on believing that there’s good inside them and that even if they’ve done bad things in the past, they can still change …
… then there is Adam Lind.
Adam Lind is the worst.
Maybe there’s a redemption story there here, or will be down the line, but it’s likely safe to say that as much has this derelict said and done over the years, it’s not coming anytime soon.
If at all. Probably that.
And this latest update?
Well, he just got even worse. Just when you thought that wasn’t possible, the Teen Mom 2 terror is not just making Chelsea Houska’s life hell after all these years. He’s worse. Much worse.

Beyond Bad
If you’re reading a story about Adam Lind, that means you probably already know who the Teen Mom 2 character is, and if you know who he is, then you definitely know that he’s not a great guy. That’s putting it as politely as possible.
Sad But True
He’s never been a great guy, either. Or even a good one. Teen Mom 2 fans will remember back when Aubree was a baby how he called Chelsea, who’d just been pregnant, a “fat stretch mark bitch” and told her that he wanted to sign his rights away to “that mistake.” The “mistake,” of course, being Aubree.
Gross
It’s pretty much a statement of fact to say that he treated Chelsea Houska poorly for years. He talked down to her, cheated on her, used her. Just so many bad things, and with pretty much no redeeming qualities.
So Sad
Thankfully, this story had a happy ending – for Chelsea. It took such a long time for her to kick him to the curb for good. But hey, that’s how abuse works, isn’t it?
Oh, Taylor …
After he and Chelsea were done (well, sort of, there was some weird overlap there), he started dating Taylor Halbur and she became pregnant with a little girl she named Paislee. Adam was awful to her, too, but more on that in just a moment.
Poor Stasia …
And after Taylor, he moved on to Stasia Huber – remember her? If you don’t remember Stasia, she was yet another victim of Adam’s abusive behavior.
Ugh
Taking a break from the relationship stuff for just a moment, but Adam’s always been troubled – and he’s always gotten in trouble. He’s been arrested so many times for driving like a jackass, including DUIs and other dangerous violations.
Father of the Year
Several warrants have also been issued for his arrest after he failed, numerous times, to pay child support. Dude can’t even support his own kids that he is never there for.
Wow
Then, in April of 2017, he failed a court-ordered drug test just hours before he was scheduled to have a visit with Paislee. He was a massive amount of meth in his system, as well as steroids.
Heartbreaking
A few months after that, he was arrested for domestic violence after assaulting Stasia. It came out then that he’d been seriously abusive to her, at one point even breaking her arm and then breaking her phone and locking her inside a room so she couldn’t seek help.
Good for Aubree
His visits with Aubree were moved out of his home or Chelsea’s home or either of their parents’ homes, and into a visitation center – think about how much of a f–kup you have to be for that to even happen – and he never bothered to show up to those!
Good for Taylor
Taylor had arranged for Adam’s visits with Paislee to be at a visitation center months before, so she was way ahead of Chelsea — last September, Taylor and Paislee cut ties with him altogether when he signed away his rights to the little girl so Taylor’s husband could adopt her.
What a Tough Choice
There’s definitely been talk about the same thing happening for Aubree – getting Adam to sign away his rights so Cole can adopt her – but it hasn’t happened yet because Aubree isn’t 100% down with the idea. She clearly loves Cole, but she also clearly isn’t ready to give up on Adam, either.
Man
This is a lot of information all at once, but compared to other Teen Mom cast members, we really don’t hear about Adam too often. We wish that were because he is getting his life together on the DL.
Uh Oh
Last week we did learn that he’s officially off probation, which is an interesting development. We’ll be curious to see what happens next.
So Disappointing
But we do know one thing that WON’T be happening … he won’t be facing any consequences for those puppies he allegedly killed.
Surprised?
Yeah, in case you missed that horrifying little piece of information, Taylor claimed in court documents a couple years ago that Adam Lind straight up murders puppies. Puppies.
Dang
She told this story after Adam requested his visits be unsupervised – and as you’ll see, she had a pretty good reason not to want her daughter around him.
Out of Control
“His life has spun out of control ever since he found fame, or infamy for that matter, on a television series run on MTV called Teen Mom 2,†she wrote then. “He has come to view himself as a person above the law, above social norms and above all rules.â€Â
Called Out
“Upon information and belief, when we were dating and lived together, he killed two of my puppies,†she alleged.
Not the First Time? What the Actual F
Not only that, but she added that “There was also another relationship that he was in, where he may have killed that person’s dog.”
Makes Sense
“If you hurt a dog, you will hurt a child!†she stated, which is a fair conclusion to make … especially given that we are talking about Adam Lind.
Huh?
In Adam’s response, his team said that he could “neither admit or deny†Taylor’s claims because they were “prayers for relief as opposed to factual assertions.â€Â
Oh, OK
But if he HAD to say one way or the other, then he denied it. Obviously.
And?
So what happened with all of that? After those alarming allegations and bombshell headlines?
Hooray!
If you guessed “not one single darn thing,” then congrats, you’d be right!
Anything At All?
Celebrity gossip site Radar Online reached out to the Sioux Falls Police Department just to ask about it, and they said that nothing about Adam killing puppies had ever been reported to them.
Unfortunate
An official from the county police department couldn’t say whether or not Taylor had reported him for animal abuse, but they did say that Adam was never arrested or charged with it.
Being Thorough
And just in case, the website checked with a neighboring county’s police department – nothing there, either.
Cool
So like Jenelle Evans’ husband David Eason before him, Adam (allegedly) killed a dog – two dogs, to be exact – and got away with it.
Honestly …
We would end this post with a plea for Adam to do better, but … 1. Is there really anywhere else for him to go but up? 2. For Adam Lind, it’s possible he actually could find a way.
