David Eason probably cares more about weapons than his own children.
So the former reality star may not give two you-know-whats about the news outlined below.
However, a responsible father would be distraught over the ruling that he basically can’t see his young son any longer, which is what Eason and Jenelle Evans just learned in court when it comes to five-year old Kaden.
What did a judge decree? And what did he say in particular about Jenelle?

The Custody Battle You Know About:
From about mid-May through early July, Jenelle and David lost custody of their own two-year old daughter, Ensley; Jenelle’s five-year old son Kaiser; and David’s 11-year old daughter Maryssa.
How Come?
Because Eason murdered the family dog this past spring and Child Protection Services determined that they were raising these kids in an unsafe environment.
So, What Changed?
Nothing in particular. The environment is probably unsafe still. But after several court hearings, a North Carolina judge said there wasn’t enough evidence to prove that the three kids actually, legally could be kept from their parents any longer.
The Custody Battle You May Not Know About
Earlier this year, Eason’s ex-girlfriend, Olivia Leedham filed for sole custody of the former couple’s five-year old son, Kaden.
The Legal Battle Ratcheted Up in Recent Days
Olivia set up a GoFundMe account this month to help pay her legal bills. At last check, it had exceeded $6,000 in donations.
Jenelle and David Then Did the Same
However, they raised just $135 of the $3,500 goal before the campaign stated that it was no longer active.
Olivia on the Attack
On her GoFundMe page, Olivia wrote the following: “When it comes to Kaden’s father, David Eason. I am sincerely concerned about my child being around someone who is extremely volatile. Domestic violence including 911 calls, animal cruelty in which case a dog was beaten and shot, and much more has all been mentioned to of happened at the Eason home.”

David fired back on his page, writing to his one or two fans: “My ex is holding me back from seeing my son under every and any circumstance for no legit reason. I pay my child support which is an insane amount and very unfair.”
And Another Thing!
“My son has constantly changed addresses since he’s been born every couple of months,” David added. “I’m never ‘allowed’ to know the address. His mother is in a new relationship every couple of months as well and has Kaden call every man ‘daddy.’ My son is very confused and doesn’t know who his daddy is.”
Sort of a Self-Own There, Huh?
But we digress.
The Ruling Has Come Down
According to Radar Online, Olivia was granted sole legal and physical custody of Kaden on June 29, 2019.
There’s an Ugly History Here
Court papers obtained by Radar from New Hanover District Court explained how Olivia was initially awarded sole legal and physical custody of the toddler on September 12, 2014. David was denied any contact with the child back then.
This is Why:
“The Defendant has committed acts of domestic violence on the Plaintiff during the course of the relationship and that he had endangered the life of the child by pushing Plaintiff when she was eight months pregnant and by leaving her in the middle of the road at night when she was seven months pregnant,†the court papers read at that time.
Why Wasn’t That the End of the Battle?
In January of 2017, the two sides reached an agreement in mediation that permitted David to have contact with Kaden on an incremental basis. We have no idea why Olivia agreed to this. Beginning in January of 2018, he enjoyed every-other-weekend custody of Kaden.
Then, Things Changed Again
In Julyof 2018, Olivia claimed in new legal papers that Kaden “began displaying a series of alarming behaviors†related to his visitations with his biological dad, which Olivia alleged continued through the summer of 2018. This past November, David’s visitation with Kaden was suspended.
Jenelle Enters the Picture
As part of this latest filing for Olivia for sole custody, she cites the incident from October 2018 in which Evans tells a 911 operator that a drunk and violent David broke her collarbone.

But Now She Has Changed Her Story… Again
These papers recite how Jenelle has since defended Eason, outlining what she told authorities about the October night in question: “At trial, Ms. Evans testified that she had not heard the 911 tape until recently despite making public comments about the 9-1-1 tape on her television program shortly after October 13, 2018. At trial, Ms. Evans testified that she slipped in a hole in the ground after she has been drinking and the children, including Kaden, were asleep as she and Defendant were outside next to a bonfire.”
LIAR!!!!!
The judge presiding over Olivia and David’s custody case found this claim by Jenelle to be totally bogus.
Seriously, Such a LIAR!
“The court does not find this testimony credible,†these custody papers state in regard to what Jenelle said about the broken collarbone. “The court finds that Ms. Evans’ statements made to 911 emergency services on or about October 12, 2018 were the accurate and credible account of what happened that night and that Defendant had assaulted Ms. Evans while there were children in the home, including Kaden.”
So, To Review:
Olivia has been awarded sole custody, in part, because the court has determined that Eason DID assault his wife — while Kaden was asleep inside the couple’s home.
Does David Even Care About Kaden?
The court documentss also confirmed that Eason has reportedly been allowed to contact Kaden via Skype twice a week since November; however: “He did not take full advantage of even the limited amount of time he has been allowed.”
And Also!
Olivia brought up Eason’s December 2018 video where he boasted about and showed off his firearms, knives, blow-darts and lots more weapons.

“The court finds this video disturbing and creates safety issues that the Court deems credible,†the court papers read.
We Don’t Know a Lot About Olivia
But we know enough about Eason and Evans to determine that Kaden is better off with her. She best treat her son well.
Kaden and Mom
Kaden is here with his mother, Olivia. We see no knives or dead dogs around, so we feel comfortable saying this is a better environment for him than David’s home.
