Javier Colon – Season 1
Despite dominating the competition during his turn on the freshman series of The Voice, Javier struggled to light up the charts. His first record post-The Voice failed to garner much traction. As a result, he exited his label. However, he went on to release another album titled Gravity in April 2016. He turned to theatre work in 2017.
Jermaine Paul – Season 2
Jermaine was crowned a winner in May 2012. However, he has yet to release a full-length studio album. It may never be released. But Jermaine has been keeping busy, taking part in low-profile events.
Cassadee Pope – Season 3
Pope is the first female winner, and also the first winner to achieve success in the charts. Her debut solo album landed at No. 9 on the Billboard 200. However, she released her second album almost six years later in 2019 under a new record label and it didn’t find much success. Pope also scored a Grammy nomination in 2016 for “Think of You,” a duet with Chris Young.
Danielle Bradbery – Season 4
Danielle has released two studio albums, and they have both been moderately successful. She has also been nominated for CMT and ACM awards.
Tessanne Chin – Season 5
Tessanne may have changed record labels, but she is still releasing music … all these years later.
Josh Kaufman – Season 6
Josh has kept busy in the years after The Voice. He released a new album in 2016. He has appeared on Broadway, and even performed the anthem for the United States in the United States vs. Trinidad And Tobago FIFA World Cup CONCACAF Eliminatory match in Dick’s Sporting Goods Park Commerce City, Colorado.
Craig Wayne Boyd – Season 7
Throughout his career, Craig has released three studio albums — two before his turn on The Voice and one after. His most recent album was through Copperline Music Group and titled “Top Shelf.”
Sawyer Fredericks – Season 8
Fredericks was just 16 years old when he won The Voice. At the time, he was breaking a lot of sales records when compared to previous singles released by the show. Since then, he has released two albums.
Jordan Smith – Season 9
Smith was a firm favorite to win Season 9 early on. He followed that up by releasing his first studio album. More recently, he announced that he wrote “Ashes” for the Deadpool 2 soundtrack and that Celine Dion performed it.
Alisan Porter – Season 10
Alison was the first contestant to win with a female coach. She was already an actress on TV and movies at the time of her joining the series. She followed the series up with a string of public appearances and performances and even headlined a Las Vegas show called The Voice: Neon Dreams.
Sundance Head – Season 11
Sundance Head’s first single after winning “Darlin’ Don’t Go,” reached No. 4 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs. He went on tour with Zac Brown Band and Blake Shelton. He then toured solo and released the album “Stained Glass and Neon” in 2019.
Chris Blue – Season 12
He’s released a string of singles, but his album has yet to materialize, despite fans being told in 2017 that it was coming VERY soon. Still, Blue released a new single in summer 2019.
Chloe Kohanski – Season 13
Chloe changed her stage name to Chloe MK in 2019 and started touring the U.S. in summer 2019.
Brynn Cartelli – Season 14
Brynn became the youngest person to win the competition. She quickly released some music and then went on tour with Kelly Clarkson and Kelsea Ballerini.
Chevel Shepherd – Season 15
Chevel released some songs following her win and is now touring.
Maelyn Jarmon – Season 16
Maelyn won the series in May 2019. She joined Republic Records and is working on her debut music.
