On Tuesday night, the Little People, Big World Season 14 premiere aired at last.

Most fans were delighted to see the Roloffs again. But some just can’t seem to help themselves.

When a vicious body-shamer criticized Amy Roloff’s looks on social media, she found a tasteful way to clap back.

Earlier this week, Amy Roloff took to Instagram to share her enthusiasm.

"Did you hear the News?!" she asks her fans and followers. "It’s Finally happening!"

"Season 14 LPBW NEW Episodes starts Tomorrow on TLC!" she notes.

Amy expresses: "I hope you’ll be watching."

We imagine that most of her fans will be delighted to continue to watch her family grow and change on the hit reality series.

"It’s going to be another great season," Amy affirms before repeatedly expressing: "I hope y’all will be watching."

"Thank you so much for all your continued support and encouragement," Amy gushes.

(Notably, not everyone gives her either of those things, unfortunately)

Amy writes that they give her support and encouragement both "in watching and following me on my social media."

"Lots of love," she concludes.

Unfortunately, despite Amy’s positive attitude, not all of her followers were feeling the same level of warmth and love.

She included this promo photo with her post.

It’s a precious picture, right? Almost everyone thought so.

One body-shaming monster, however, decided to chime in with their unsolicited thoughts on Amy’s body and wardrobe.

"Not a flattering shirt, Amy," the totally inappropriate comment reads.

Amy clapped back: "Hmmm … Well, I tried."

She followed that with a pleasantly smiling emoji, showing that she’s not going to let some dick’s criticism keep her down.

Now, you’ll notice that this concern troll — who pretends to have Amy’s best interests at heart — made it sound like they’re discussing her blouse.

But their meaning was clear to everyone, including Amy herself.

They think that her arms don’t look "flattering" and that Amy should bundle up her body if she’s not going to look like a 23-year-old Influencer.

Amy doesn’t have to conform to someone’s weird ideas of what arms "should" look like in order to bare her arms. Ugh.

Amy is a frequent target of criticism from alleged "fans" of Little People, Big World.

Some slam her for promoting her own products on Instagram.

Others give her hate for her boyfriend, Chris Marek — hate that they do not send to the same degree to Matt and Caryn.

Additionally, as illustrated in the image above, Amy’s group selfies tend to feature her in the foreground and others in the background.

This is of course a direct consequence of her height, which anyone who gave the subject a few seconds of thought would realize.

Sadly, people are often insensitive and overly eager to criticize people. It’s how they vent, but it’s not healthy.

Amy has been bombarded with criticism, concern trolling, and outright hate for years.

Viewers who had watched the Roloff family for years did not like seeing her and Matt get divorced.

Maybe they just see Amy as an easy target. That is so sad.

The good news is that she’s developed a thick skin and knows how to very tastefully respond when a response is appropriate.

We hope that the body-shamer’s words do not haunt her when she next dons a sleeveless top. The weather is, sadly, warming up.
