So everyone feels really sad and awful about what’s going on with Jenelle Evans right now, right?
Because, to be clear, it is all really sad and awful.
Earlier this month, she called 911 and asked them to send help because her husband, David Eason, had abused her.
And everything pretty much fell apart from there.
But now, thanks to a new report, we’re learning what MTV plans to do about this disturbing new development.
Hint: pretty much nothing.
Oh, Jenelle …
All right, so … this is tough.
AND SAD
We’re used to teasing Jenelle or calling her out on being whatever kind of terrible, but now, she needs our support.
A Clarification
Well, she needs the support of people who actually know her and can help her, and she also needs to not be in an abusive marriage, but hey, our support definitely can’t hurt!
What a Nightmare
OK, so earlier this month, a report came out about how there was a 911 call from Jenelle’s home, and that she’d been taken to the hospital after being assaulted by David.
Hmmm
It was odd, because just a few days before that, she shared this photo of her nose all messed up, but apparently the alleged assault happened after she had emergency sinus surgery, so, you know, way to be even worse, David.
Riiiiiight

After that report was released, a rep for Jenelle made a statement explaining that there was no domestic violence, she’d just tripped and fallen by a bonfire.
Another Version
But then the 911 call was released, and we all heard the recording of her sobbing and terrified.
Just Heartbreaking
It’s definitely difficult to listen to her call, but if you do, you can hear her describe the assault.
Poor Jenelle
âÂÂHe pinned me down on the ground in the yard, and I think I heard my fâÂÂking collarbone crack and I canâÂÂt move my arms,” she cried.
SUCH a Jerk
She also said that he “got violent because he was drinking,” and at one point she even referred to him as her ex, which was promising for about two seconds.
Cancelled

An ambulance was called, but someone cancelled it, and instead someone took Jenelle to the hospital to get checked out.
Back to “Normal”
But although she was obviously so afraid in the call, and even though she called him her ex, they quickly went back to their regular, horrifying marriage.
Ugh
They’ve both said that things were fine — so fine that she deleted her Twitter and Facebook pages, in fact.
… What?
And apparently while filming for the new season of Teen Mom 2, Jenelle told her mother that “they were both super drunk and she just tripped and fell into David and they both thought the other was attacking them, so thatâÂÂs how it got blown out of proportion and why she called 911.”
Seriously, What?
There are so many things wrong with that story, it’s hard to know where to start.
We Need Answers
Why were they both so drunk if they had their kids in the house? Why would they think they were attacking each other if she just tripped? For real, imagine your spouse tripping in front of you and having such a dysfunctional relationship that your first instinct is to think they’re attacking you.
Honey …
It sounds like she just did her best to make up a story that explained her 911 call and still fit with her original “fell in front of the fire” story, and it just does not work.
So Unfortunate
But it seems like that’s her story and she’s sticking to it … and MTV is, as well.
Disappointing

In a new report from Radar Online, a source claims that MTV has no plans to do anything at all about the mess that is Jenelle’s marriage these days, because “MTV loves the drama of Jenelle.”
True
“The visceral reaction people have against her drives crazy ratings,” the source adds.
Running the Show
Not only that, but “Jenelle’s drama is the only drama on Teen Mom 2 that people tune in for.”
Makes Sense

“It is the reason why she’s on after she pulled a gun on camera. And they fired David and not Jenelle too. She is ratings gold.”
The Star?
She really is, though — although we love following the lives of Kailyn, Chelsea, Leah, and Briana, Jenelle has that special something that makes for such good reality TV.
Real Talk

It’s her awful attitude, her criminal history, and insanely messy life, to be clear, so it’s not really something her costars should aspire to.
Afraid of Change
Still, she has it, just like Farrah Abraham did on Teen Mom OG, and now that Farrah’s gone and ratings are sort of tanking, MTV is extra scared about the idea of losing Jenelle.
Sorry, Bristol!

They thought Bristol Palin was going to be a good replacement for Farrah, but honestly, how can you replace such a unique gem like Farrah?
It’s All Coming Together

As the source explains, “They’re worried that Bristol isn’t going to bring the drama Farrah did so they won’t lose Jenelle.”
This is Fair

This is a good explanation for why they’ve never fired her, and honestly we’ve always known this, but it’s kind of odd that’s a discussion right now.
Allegedly!
Because why would she get fired for being the victim of an alleged domestic assault?
How … Sweet?
There’s even a theory that she hasn’t been fired because the network and crew members are afraid to leave her alone for good with David.
Wow
Whatever’s going on, it’s clear that we’re going to get at least one more full season of Jenelle’s life … and at this point, it seems like it may be the most intense season yet.
