Reality TV is a strange beast.
It turns regular folks into celebrities not because of their brains, abilities, or even their looks, but simply because of their willingness to allow viewers to access their private lives.
For some, that’s the primary appeal of the genre, while for others, it’s the chief drawback.
We think it’s safe to say Leah Messer’s ex-husband, Jeremy Calvert, belongs squarely in the latter camp.
Check out Jeremy’s latest rant against his co-stars in the gallery below and watch Teen Mom 2 online to decide for yourself if Calvert has a point.
Jeremy and Leah In Happier Times
Jeremy is Leah’s second husband after Corey Simms. He’s also the father of her youngest daughter, Adalynn.
One Messy Breakup
Jeremy and Leah split in ugly fashion. While they’ve formed an amicable co-parenting relationship in the years since, it wasn’t an easy process.
Jeremy Doesn’t Want His MTV

Just about every one on Teen Mom 2 has complained about the way the show is edited. But perhaps no one has been as critical of the show itself as Jeremy Calvert.
The King of the Insta-rant
These days, Jeremy is in an on-again, off-again relationship with Brooke Wehr, and he seems to be pretty content–but he still takes to social media to vent his frustration now and then.
Tell Us What You REALLY Think!
Calvert’s latest is a doozy. In the comments on his latest Instagram post the reality star went off on everyone from judgemental fans to his co-stars.
Not Exactly Subtle
Jeremy posted this meme earlier in the week, and with that, he was off to the rant races.
Jeremy to Fans: No, I Will Not Have Sex With You!
“Dude if ur fucking married or engaged don’t send me fucking shit on here or snap chat like wtf,” Calvert wrote.
Jeremy Hates Thirst
“It’s killing me not to call u bitches out on here. Get ur shit together 99% of you have fucking kids and a family stop trying to fuck it up. #thristyaf #getthefuckouttaherewiththatshit,” he continued.
It Gets Worse
So far, Jeremy’s complaints are pretty reasonable. But he went on to launch a full-blown rant in the comments section.
Biting the Hand That Feeds Him
Calvert went off on his TM2 co-stars, writing, “No one on this show is famous for anything no one had a talent no one sings or plays a sport or anything.”
The “Oh Sh-t Moment”
âÂÂThey had a oh sh-t moment and MTV needed something to make cash off of and boom well f-ck how about teen mom itâÂÂs a f-cking joke,” Jeremy wrote.
Jeremy Calvert: Laughing All the Way to the Bank
A fan pointed out that Jer also cashes checks from MTV, to which he replied: “Yup u are 1000% correct but guess what I donâÂÂt need MTV to pay my mother f–king bills either never did and never willâ¦âÂÂ
He Has a Point

Jeremy works as a pipeliner, which means unlike some of the other stars of the franchise, he is able to support himself without the show. We’re sure he still doesn’t mind raking in that MTV bank, though.
Jeremy Spoke With No Claaaass Today…

Jeremy didn’t have any kind words for a fan who pointed out that he has his own history with infidelity. “Nice fake profile, ur parents sure raised a pussy and chicken sh-t, you sure were a waste of a nut,” Calvert wrote.
Calvert Supporters
Jeremy has a lot of fans, and some came to his defense in the comments.
Thirstiness Explained

“They think they will be famous because youâÂÂve been featured on tv a couple times,” one fan wrote. “No offense to you at all but guaranteed if you werenâÂÂt on on tv you wouldnâÂÂt get half the inbox you get. People are willing to put their marriages online for just a little bit of fame/attention.”
Jeremy Loves It
“I sincerely love ur comment,” Calvert wrote in response to that fan. He wasn’t that polite all the time, however…
The Man Speaks His Mind
“Hahahaha eat a dick,” Calvert wrote to one commenter. The dude is not playing around these days.
Not His First Rant
Jeremy has railed against TM2, MTV, and fans of the show before. âÂÂAll they want is the negative editing, arguments, fights, disagreements so they can f**king make a show. If you people are that g**damn stupid to not see that, what the f**k is your problem? Yes, MTV just wants drama, people!â he ranted in a video post back in May.
He’ll Be Back
Calvert has even gone so far as to quit the show in the past. But he always comes back. Why? Well, it may have something to do with those fat MTV paychecks…
