In the days following a suicide bomber taking the lives of 22 people inside Manchester Arena at an Ariana Grande concert, the names of many of these victims have been made public.
While the world continues to deal with the aftermath of this awful attack, we’d like to pay tribute to those who were killed.
We’ve shared some of their photos below. May they rest in peace.
John Atkinson
Died at the age of 26. Was remembered by loved ones on social media, one of whom write the following: “Such a sick world we live in ⦠my thoughts are with all the Atkinson family today ⦠I canâÂÂt even think straight today.”
Courtney Boyle
The 19-year old was killed at the event along with her stepfather.
Kelly Brewster
The 32-year old was originally reported missing, but then her family confirmed she had died.
Georgina Callander
The 18-year old shared this photo of herself and Grande from two years earlier on Twitter, expressing her excitement to see the artist in person again.
Olivia Campbell
The 15-year old’s death was tragically confirmed by her mother, who wrote online: “RIP my darling precious gorgeous girl Olivia Campbell taken far far to soon go sing with the angels and keep smiling mummy loves you so much.”
Liam Curry and Chloe Rutherford
Described as “inseparable” by loved ones, the 19-year old and 17-year old were a couple and were both killed in the attack.
Wendy Fawell
The 50-year old was reportedly at the show with her daughter and a friend of her daughter’s.
Martyn Hett
At 29 years old, Hett became separated from his friends during the chaos and had been scheduled to vacation in the U.S. for two months in the days after the attack.
Sorrell Leczkowski
The 14-year old was with her mother (who required surgery after the attack) and her grandmother, picking up other relatives at the event.
Lisa Lees
A friend of fellow victim Alison Howe, the 43-year old had also been waiting to pick up her daughter from the Manchester Arena at the time of the explosion.
Nell Jones
The 14-year old was mourned by officials at her school, who said in a statement: “We are all devastated by the loss and as a school community we must now come to terms with what has happened. Nell was a very bright and popular student.”
Michelle Kiss
The 45-year old left behind a husband, Tony, and three children: Dylan, Elliot and Millie.
Angelika and Marcin Klis
Klis and her husband, 40-year-old Marcin Klis, were confirmed as two Polish nationals killed in the attack.
Eilidh MacLeod
The 14-year attended the show with a friend. She hailed from Scotland and died in the hospital.
Elaine McIver
The 43-yead old police officer was off duty and watched the concert with her husband.
Saffie Rose Roussos
At eight years old, she was the youngest victim.
Philip Tron
Tron, 32, was killed along with his stepdaughter, Courtney Boyle.
Jane Tweddle-Taylor
The 50-year old was at the venue to help her friend pick up her daughter. She worked as a receptionist at South Shore Academy in Blackpool, Lancashire, in England.
