On the premiere of this new NBC drama, an experimental time machine is stolen by criminal mastermind named Garcia Flynn.
In response to the way he could change history, a team made up of history professor Lucy Preston; her bodyguard Wyatt Logan; and engineer Rufus Carlin is sent back in time, using a prototype machine to capture this villain.
However, the trio soon discover that Flynn and his associates are plotting to rewrite American history on ways they never before imagined… and that each of them has a connection to his plan.
