There’s nothing more annoying than a hit movie that gets ruined by a horrific sequel.
Basically, if the first one makes a lot of money, a sequel is all but guaranteed.
Rarely, these new movies can pack a punch, but most of them just flounder and make us question why we liked the first one.
We’ve compiled a list of sequels that should never have been made.
The Book of Shadows: Blair Witch 2
The title sounded pretty slick, but the film suffered from poor pacing and literally zero scares.
The Hangover Part 2
The Hangover was a great comedy movie that kept us guessing what the heck was going on right up until the end, but the second part struggled from horrible dialog and zero laughs. It’s surprising a third one was even made.
Pirahna 3DD
The 2010 reboot of Pirahna was surprisingly fresh, so you can only imagine how annoyed most of the fans were when Pirahna 3DD appeared on the scene. It was essentially a parody of the first movie.
Sex and the City 2
Sex and the City was a gem for HBO, so fans were cautious that the movie would be terrible. It was great, but the second one was rushed and struggled to have a cohesive plot that fans could get on board with.
Ted 2
Amanda Seyfried replaced Mila Kunis. That kind of says it all.
Dumb and Dumber To
The magic of Dumb and Dumber could not be replicated for the poorly executed sequel that was scarce on the laughs.

Switching the action from the highway to the high seas was not the best course of action for this Sandra Bullock movie.
