Despite all The Bachelorette spoilers and talk this season focused on one of JoJo Fletcher’s suitors, could another be the real winner?

It should go without saying that spoilers await, but in case you haven’t pieced that together … The Bachelorette spoilers await, people!
Okay then. The two big storylines of the season so far:
- Chad Johnson being on steroids and totally insane;
- Jordan Rodgers being JoJo’s consensus favorite.
Well, new speculation surrounding JoJo’s journey has Luke Pell emerging as a threat to win the final rose along with the ex-NFL player.
With an alarming number of suitors boasting serious issues and shady pasts, Pell looks like the only "white sheep" in the flock today.
Between Johnson, Brandon Howell, Robby Hayes and of course Rodgers, every other serious contender is plagued by some scandal.
Luke Pell, conversely, is a product of West Point, which speaks volumes before he even opens his mouth – and Chris Harrison is a fan.
"He’s been through a lot while defending our country and I, too am grateful for his service," the show’s longstanding host said recently.
"Luke really became a front runner on the [Dan + Shay] date," he added. "I’m sure we’ll be seeing much more of him in the coming weeks."
That a ringing endorsement, to be sure, and well earned.
Of course, a couple of glowing episodes and comments from Chris don’t mean he’ll make it to – much less win – the final rose ceremony.
If being a good guy automatically made you a frontrunner in The Bachelorette, or in life, many men’s romantic fortunes would change.
Moreover, Chris is a pro’s pro when it comes to the art of the tease. He’s not going to tell you Jordan has this thing wrapped up early.
Maybe Rodgers is engaged to JoJo – we know he’s in Fletcher’s final four – and maybe he’s not, but expect Harrison to downplay that.
It’s in the show’s best interest to hype other guys and storylines to build suspense and high drama as the season progresses. Just saying.
What do you think of Luke, Jordan and the rest of the gang thus far? Is JoJo’s taste – or the producers’ – as bad as we’ve ever seen?
