After pictures of The Voice coaches Gwen and Blake were spotted hooking up on Halloween night, it didn’t take long for us to question if they are dating.
And just as we expected, shortly after their Halloween hook up, Gwen confirmed they are dating. “Gwen and Blake are longtime friends who have very recently started dating,” Gwen’s rep announced.
Now, according to Radar Online, The Voice is revamping the show to highlight Gwen and Blake’s relationship!
A production insider claimed, “Now that Blake and Gwen have gone public with their relationship, there will most definitely be expectations on them to act like boyfriend and girlfriend on-air.”
“Production is discussing whether or not they should now move their seats on the judging row so that they sit next to each other,” the source added.
In other words, The Voice is going to exploit Gwen and Blake’s relationship to boost the show’s ratings.
Gwen and Blake’s studio trailers are next to each other. And there is more in the works to incite additional on-air romance between them.
“The executives are even hinting to them that, when it gets to battle round, they should play it up for the cameras so that they purposely steal each other’s eliminated contestants,” the source revealed.
It is unclear when their relationship first began. But Gwen and Blake seemed to flirt with each other when the filmed commenced in August.
Some believe the two may have been romantically involved before filming, but they were both in the midst of a divorce.
In July, Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert divorced after four years of marriage. And in August, Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale split after 13 years.
Sources claim that Miranda Lambert thinks Blake was cheating with Gwen. But Lambert has not officially released a statement.
Cheating or not, now that their divorces are out of the way, Gwen and Blake are free to exploit their relationship as much as they want. And we are looking forward to it!
