Last night on The Real Housewives of Orange County, Meghan, Heather, Tamra, and Shannon hit up a NASCAR race … and went on a race for the truth.
What, specifically, were they investigating, and did they find it?
The truth they were searching for, of course, is not how many bathrooms are in Heather’s new house (14, and it would require a scavenger hunt).
Nor is it which wife can get a stock car up to 125 m.p.h.
It was whether Brooks Ayers is faking cancer, as implied by Tamra Barney (or at least her psychic) in a bombshell episode last Monday.
When The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 10 Episode 12 began, the witch hunt was on, in full effect, and hotter than burning tires.
Or something.
"I’m not going to listen to a psychic," said Vicki, who just broke up with her boyfriend in real life, just as this storyline began to play out.
"I’m not going to listen to Meghan, who’s 30 years old. She is messing with the wrong person … Shame on her … She can kiss my ass."
Meghan King Edmonds did not take kindly to being called out.
"Why wouldn’t I question that?" Edmonds asked, referring to why Brooks Ayers was pausing his chemotherapy to blast antioxidants.
"Don’t you ever question if he has cancer again. I’ll take you down," Vicki said, and kept at it with a tone proving she wasn’t kidding.
"How dare you go there. Is my mother still alive? Guess what, she’s dead. Are you going to question that, too? How dare you!"
"I’m shaking right now. I can barely look at you. Do you have cancer? Do you? I’ve been there while he’s getting chemo put in his arm."
"Don’t worry about it … you’re not going to get involved in it."
Meghan said this was the pot calling the kettle black hadcore.
"You get involved with my stepdaughter … and I’m not allowed to be concerned?" Edmonds said, questioning Vicki’s criticism of her.
"You’re a little girl, and you need to go away," said Gunvalson.
"You have not been through what we’ve been through."
"Don’t tell me I’m not feeling pain … LeAnn is dying," Meghan said, referring to LeAnn Edmonds Horton, her husband’s ex, who just died of cancer.
"You are so out of line," said Gunvalson to her co-star.
"For what? Caring?" Meghan replied, incredulously.
"Shut up!" Vicki said, pointing and gesturing erratically.
"Put your finger down!" said Edmonds, nonplussed.
"You don’t even want to go there with me," Vicki said.
"You’re just an old woman who’s pissed off and bitter at the world," Edmonds yelled in the ultimate comeback, "so you just shut up."
Really, you need to watch The Real Housewives of Orange County online to fully appreciate this madness, because it’s intense.
