After a deeply troubling loss at Nationals, Abby Lee Miller and her Dance Moms set out to figure out what went wrong, and how to shake things up.
Would there be HELL to pay?! Or would Abby leave the show?!
When Dance Moms Season 5 Episode 32 got underway, it was reunion time, and it did not take long for Abby to start making mysterious comments.
Between her move to LA, the failure at nationals, and all the recent tumult – even by this show’s standards – has her time on Lifetime run its course?
“Can we assume that you’re going to be here all summer?” Jeff Collins, producer and host of the reunion, asked regarding Abby’s new L.A. studio.
Her response? You’ll have to watch Dance Moms online to see it in full and judge for yourself, but here are some of her notable quotes:
“When the show first started, I was planning on retiring, and that didn’t happen. Doing this junior elite team happened. And we’ve done it."
"We’ve had an amazing run, and you know, they’re turning into teens, so that’s where this journey ends for me and a new journey begins."
"I think this has been a great run… I don’t like what happened at the competition. Maybe like friends, you go out when you’re on the top.”
"I hope the children have learned a lot. I would like to take everything I’ve learned and go on to do something bigger and better.”
“I’m not done with them,” she added of the girls who have followed her all across this great country. “I just think that I’ve learned a lot."
Her comments left the moms, and the fans, shocked and confused … especially since a new season is said to be in the works.
However, there i also a dispute between Abby and Lifetime over payment and casting, so it’s possible the plug may still be pulled?
Honestly, we have no clue, but fully expect her to be back because she loves the attention and the show is (for some reason) huge.
Also of note on the reunion? Kira Girard, the mother of ALDC dancer Kilani Hilliker, was surprised with a proposal from her boyfriend.
The couple is also expecting a baby this fall! Congrats!
What do you think about the show’s future? Is Abby just blowing smoke as always or might she actually step aside from Lifetime?
