In a word? OOPS! In another word: HA!
A mother in Scotland has seen her child’s birthday cake go viral as a result of a particularly hilarious Autocorrect incident.
In honor of daughter Laura turning 21, the mother sent a message to a local baker and asked that she top the dessert item with a blonde girl figurine.
At least that’s what the mother intended to ask.
“My mum’s friend baked the cake and my mum at last minute texted her to ask for a blonde girl on top,” Emily explained to BuzzFeed.
“The text must have autocorrected to ‘blind girl’ and when my mum went to collect it she was wondering why it wasn’t blonde.
They then realized what had happened after checking the text and decided to leave it on as was funny. Hope no one is offended.”
To make matters even more erroneous, as you can see above, the little girl is brunette.
Like we said: HA!
Mistakes happen, of course. It’s not big deal. And if the baker really does feel badly about it, she can always make her pal another cake with an apologetic message written out on it…
