Over the weekend, social media was abuzz with the news that Nicki Minaj is pregnant with Meek Mill’s baby.
This wasn’t a case of tabloid speculation gone wild, Nicki was captured on videotape referring to Meek as her "baby father" during a concert.
It doesn’t get much clearer than that, right?
Wrong! Apparently in Nicki Land, "baby father" translates as "dude I’m totally into at the moment."
Sources close to Ms. Minaj are now telling TMZ that Nicki is definitely not pregnant.
She apparently uses the term "baby father" rather frequently to express her affection for the important dudes in her life.
She’s even used it in the past in reference to Lil Wayne and Drake, which is significant, as she’s previously gone on record as having not had sex with either of them.
The source reportedly wouldn’t give any clear answers regarding the rumors that Nicki and Meek are engaged, but she did say that they consider themselves to be in it "for the long haul."
The insider added that Nicki would like to have kids in the very near future, but she would insist on getting married first.
