Ever since the world first learned that Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner are getting divorced, theories have abounded as to what caused the A-list couple to call it quits.
Rumors about Affleck cheating on Garner began circulating months before the couple announced their split, and now several media outlets are claiming to have all the details regarding Ben’s alleged infidelity
Yesterday, Us Weekly reported that Ben is dating Christine Ouzounian, a 28-year-old woman who had previously worked as his kids’ nanny.
What’s more, the tabloid claimed that their relationship began while Affleck was still married, which prompted Garner to fire Ouzounian.
A rep for Affleck has slammed the story as "complete garbage," and the actor has threatened to pursue legal action.
Despite his denials, however, new details about the alleged relationship between Affleck and Ouzounian continue to emerge.
Earlier today, People magazine quoted sources who say that Ouzounian is "in love" with Affleck.
Now, Radar Online is reporting that while their relationship may not have been entirely appropriate, Affleck and Ouzounian didn’t go as far as some tabloids are reporting.
“They didn’t sleep together or get physical," says one source close to the nanny. "When the separation happened, they started talking. Ben doesn’t have anyone to talk to…there was an inappropriate meeting.
“Jennifer was furious when she found out they were talking when the kids weren’t involved…He admitted that they did have a meeting, and that there was texting, an email relationship, and a couple of phone calls too.
"That set Jennifer off, and that’s when [Ouzounian] got sent packing."
So maybe Ben is telling the truth about being faithful to Garner. Of course, we’re still waiting to hear Ouzounian’s side of the story.
