Rats. It was a swell idea while it lasted.
According to E! News, plans for a NeNe Leakes and Kim Zolciak reality show have been scraped.
The project was to have centered on these rivals-turned-friends and it was to have been titled NeNe and Kim: The Road to Riches.
As that name implies, it would have followed Leakes and Zolciak on an actual road trip. How great would that have been?!?
"They’re both in the middle of other projects. There was no way it was going to work," an insider says of why the series was yanked.
Leakes, of course, just announced her departure from The Real Housewives of Atlanta.
Zolciak, meanwhile, is too busy sharing selfies of her own body to film a new show. Just kidding.
She actually just wrapped filming on Season 4 of Don’t Be Tardy and will be doing work in post-production and in promotion.
The original series has been announced at Bravo’s Upfront Presentation in May.
