The ALDC’s chief rival, MDP, returned last night on on Dance Moms Season 5 Episode 24. How did this clash of the titans play out on Lifetime?
ALDC vs. MDP wasn’t the only battle on tap, it turned out.
As you’ll see when you watch Dance Moms online, Abby Lee Miller just cannot resist pitting Mackenzie Ziegler against her big sister Maddie.
In Dance Moms Season 5 Episode 24, "West Coast Strikes Back," the moms were far from pleased when Maddie took Mackenzie’s place.
Melissa, the mother of both Maddie and Mackenzie, agreed that Maddie was perhaps the best choice for the lead in “Voices In My Head.”
The only voice that matters is Abbe Lee’s, of course.
Mackenzie Ziegler was actually on the top of the pyramid thanks to her first place win last week’s episode, but the triumph was short-lived.
She was technically proficient but wasn’t expressive enough, in Abby’s view, and thus, she decided to sub in Maddie with the stakes high.
The girls were dancing against Erin Babbs’s Murrieta Dance Project (MDP) at the Fierce Talent Competition,just adding to the pressure.
Tensions mounted. At one point, Melissa even told Kendall’s mom Jill to “go to hell” when she kept being pushed to defend Mackenzie.
When the ALDC girls lost first place to MDP, the second guessing and finger pointing only increased. Did Abby make the right decision!?
Perhaps more importantly, were the moms really upset about the team losing or how Mackenzie felt, or just looking to pile it on Melissa?
We all know Maddie Ziegler and to an extent, Mackenzie too, inspire palpable jealousy among the moms, who are itching to let loose.
Their own behavior are always suspect. Just saying.
Not as suspect as Abby Lee making oral sex jokes about little girls and being a crass bully in general, but still. Suspect to say the least.
