Finally, something we don’t need to classify as an epic Target fail.

In light of backlash against the retailer when it comes to its plus-size clothing philosophy (it once listed the size of a dress as “manatee grey”), Target has come out with a new swimwear ad campaign.

It is titled "Target Loves Every Body" and it features models who actually look like they’ve eaten a full meal at some point in the last two weeks.

Target is clearly making an effort to change its image.

Earlier this year, the company launced Ava & Viv, a plus-size clothing collection that was developed along with a Target patron who once boycotted the brand after it failed to offer a certain type of outfit over Size 16.

These new Campaign photos, meanwhile, depict the models in bikinis and in one-pieces, making it clear that different women like to wear different types of bathing suits.

And that’s okay.

The non-skinny model trend is picking up a lot of momentum these days.

Tess Holliday, for instance, has made a name for herself as a plus-size model who recently recorded a fun video aimed at helping women of all shapes with their self-confidence.
