Last week, we reported that Kim Richards had been fired from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills due to her constant drunken shenanigans and refusal to seek treatment.
The news was confirmed by several major media outlets including E! News, but now, Richards’ ex-husband, Monty Brinson, is claiming that not only has Kim not been fired, she’s been offered two new shows, a three-book publishing deal, and a flying unicorn.
Okay, we may have made that last one up, but seriously, Brinson’s Intagram page is full of some pretty wild claims these days.
Asked if Kim was actually fired by Bravo, Brinson replied, "No, like I always tell people don’t believe 90% of what you read. And if she did I would be honest with you cause I have nothing to hide. but this week she got offered 2 new shows if she chooses to.
"She’s even got two new shows from NBC they want her to star in. And finally with her 3 book deal everyone will know the truth. She has so much support from everyone."
We’re not saying Monty is delusional, but we have a hard time believing that NBC is building their new Must-See TV lineup around a reality has-been who made such a drunken ass of herself at her daughter’s wedding that she basically had go into hiding afterward.
Fortunately, Monty’s claims about his ex-wife’s health and sobriety are a bit more believable.
Richards is back in rehab and this time, she’s supposedly fully committed to the program. We’re hoping that Kim is more focused on her treatment than on her next project.
