Ice T has sort of pulled a Kanye West.
Just as Mr. Kim Kardashian has often made his opinion known when disagreeing with certain award winners, Ice T took to Twitter last night and expressed a negative sentiment regarding one Billboard Music Awards outcome.
Iggy Azalea won Top Rap Artist….. I’m done," Ice T wrote.
Azalea actually took home three trophies at the 2015 Billboard Music Awards on Sunday, winning Top Streaming Artist, Top Rap Artist and Top Rap Song for "Fancy" feat. Charli XCX.
She also performed a duet on stage with Britney Spears.
And while Ice T was the most famous critic of Izzy’s, he was far from alone in his assessment of her success.
“Can we all come to an agreement that Iggy Azalea is the worst person to walk the face of the Earth and should be imprisoned for her actions?” wrote @ObeyNudah, perhaps a bit harshly.
Another user added:
"Iggy Azalea is nominated for top rap artist which is ironic considering she’s not a rapper or an artist."
Azalea has faced criticism throughout her career, firing back at critics in January by saying they hate her because she’s a woman.
