The results of The Voice playoffs are in, and for eight aspiring stars, it was the end of the road, as the Season 8 field has now been cut from 20 to 12.

Who’s moving on, and who’s heading home after Wednesday’s hour-long show, which followed back-to-back two-hour marathons Monday and Tuesday?

Pharrell’s uplifting words – “This is meant to be the beginning of the rest of your lives,” Williams told his charges – could only go so far on this night.

The show just shed 40 percent of its remaining contestants, and after Team Christina dominated Tuesday, that was a pretty tough pill to swallow for her.

Only three singers would move on from Team Xtina, Team Adam, Team Pharrell and Team Blake, with each coach having their say in one of the three.

America votes through two team members per coach, and the superstar mentor makes the third and final choice – often the hardest one of the season.

Without further adieu, let’s go ahead and reveal The Voice results

TEAM CHRISTINA

Voted through by America: Kimberly Nichole, India Carney
