Since quitting One Direction, Zayn Malik has spoken out on a number of occasions, apologizing to fans for letting them down, yet explaining why he had to leave.
Now, however, the artist is letting his mouth do the talking in a different way.
Malik posted the following photo on Instagram yesterday, packing on some PDA with girlfriend Perrie Edwards in a clear attempt to end all negative chatter about their relationship.
Zayn included a one word caption ("out") along with the romantic image.
Earlier this month, prior to announcing his One Direction departure, Malik dealt with rumors that he had cheated on his fiancee.
“I’m 22 years old," he replied at the time. "I love a girl named Perrie Edwards. And there’s a lot of jealous f—ks in this world I’m sorry for what it looks like."
More recently, meanwhile, reports indicated he actually left the boy band because Malik is dating Ellie Goulding.
Perhaps this picture will put that talk to rest.
As for Malik’s status with his now-former colleagues?
Sources say One Direction members remain in touch with Zayn and there are no hard feelings.
"This last week has been some of the worst times, possibly the worst it’s something we are all deeply saddened by,” Liam Payne wrote on Twitter a few days ago.
“It’s sad to think for the time being we won’t grace the stage as five bros or have the same fun on a tour bus or laughs in a hotel together that we have over the years but I’m super sure us and Zayn will always remain the closest friends…
"it’s ok to be sad and upset but I do ask everyone who is a fan of us to please keep ur faith in us I’m sure there’s a lot more to come."
